3rd May 2019 at 1:13 pm #64371He obviously slots more than once a week. So why not just hit record, pause, play, render and upload?
I guess sometimes he just wants to sit quietly and play slots for the sake of playing slots, without feeling the need to provide a running commentary or be amusing. Just a bit of me time to himself

While I can see the point about the forum being a fun place to visit, it’s not the reason for all the followers.
The slot videos are the reason for all the followers, slot videos are the reason the forum sprung up, rather than the other way around, and slot videos and the affiliate funds they’ve raised have helped pay for it.
While I don’t like Chipmunkz “business model” (in a nutshell – watch me, subscribe to my channel, sign up through my links so I can take all the profits and give you feck all back**) he gives his subscribers a new video almost every day.
**fair enough he did give away some money from Extra Chilli last month – but only because he didn’t have to provide it).It seems a shame that Bandit sub’s have to beg for content, and even then are given “like it or lump it” statements like last Sunday when a video dropped with an hour of Reel King and nothing else. This week was a treat; a standard Sunday Slots which became a Reel King attempt and then a longer high-stakes shot. Great content.
Once a week, though, isn’t going to satisfy the fans.I strongly agree with the comments here and Twitter about Bandit ignoring the original supporters and putting all his time and effort into the Footie Million stuff. Fine it’s a good cause and should get a few headlines when the target is reached but that’s a personal project. A vanity project, almost. Loads of members are happy to help but now every page has a “sticky” about it and it’s feeling like it has been repeated to death.
To me it feels like the older supporters, subscribers and slotters have been used as a stepping stone to bigger things. I don’t especially care, there are loads of other YouTubers following the same format now – they may not be as entertaining but the content is there if that’s what people want. Just don’t be surprised when people un-sub or attack you for not providing the content that this whole community was born from.
I have put dozens of people onto this channel over the years and we’d often have a laugh about particular outbursts, or “borrow” some of the catchphrases if we were playing the machines in the pub, but these days I am the only one still watching.7th May 2019 at 12:53 pm #65137I must admit I agree with Kojak. I have been a regular visitor to this forum but rarely post as it was really the videos that I was more interested in. I appreciate the time and effort that it takes to create these videos to the standard and quality that they are however I am now finding them to be too infrequent and I tend not to check in as often anymore. I am also a little put off by some of the huge stakes played when there is a video as I cannot relate to the play anymore, way out of my reach. As is always the case though nobody forces me to watch anything so I can please myself whether I bother or not, I will still probably pop by occasionally so keep up the good work and best of luck!
7th May 2019 at 4:49 pm #65190I quite like the big stakes… now and again.
I was here for the 5k sub video, the 10k sub video, the 15k (Remind me, is that the one where he only realised halfway through that it was a biggie and jumped from £2 stakes to £20 stakes?? Hahahaha).
Anyway, big stakes are a thrill when dropped in as a special. Sadly, these days we start on £2 Book of Dead, £2 Danger, maybe whatever the new MegaWays slot is… then inevitably we are on Reel King, maybe we’ll start at £1.60, then £4 stake, then £8, then £16 and before we know it it’s a ridiculous £40 a spin sesh. Of course we’re forced to stay until it’s a ‘top’ on the max-stake and then it’s mega high stakes slotting because Bandit no longer gets a thrill from 2 quid a spin.
To be quite frank it’s thrilling for a very short while then gets boring, because it’s 100% unrelatable. I have played poker at nosebleed stakes, but slots at 20 quid a spin on slots is just suicidal. Almost every session I watch now I’m praying for the inevitable day they remove the gamble ladder, which isn’t any good but it MIGHT bring us back down to earth with some fun videos.
I recall the very early low stakes days of course, but long for the glory days of £1000 start balance and £2 a spin. Maybe £4/£5 if we were on a heater. Back then it was a drama if we lost the original grand and had to reload – it was a battle against the machines to claw a few quid back. These days, with a £2000 deposit lasting an average of 5 minutes on RK it’s just a dreadful dreadful watch.
Please note, @bandit, how I say WE instead of YOU. Yes it’s your money, but we are a community. Everyone here wishes you success and wills you to do well, even though its you and not us who profit. Sadly you seem hell-bent on alienating all but the most degenerate gamblers. If you were trying to create a forum of regular heavy gamblers then great. It’s not what you told us in the early days though…
7th May 2019 at 7:03 pm #65199Dont think the stakes bandit plays on reel king are unrelatable at all in terms of the value yes but its not hard to think about it being urself on what ever stakes ur used to . i personally may equate my 10p starting point to stevie’s £1.60 for example, and the most ive ever been at 80p to the £40 max bet . But i do think that people have to try the game itself and get a top to be able to understand the buzz no matter what stake we play
7th May 2019 at 9:06 pm #65231The forum adds very little to the “Bandit experience”. Either it’s very toxic or very quiet. But it doesn’t add anything to the videos, which are imo the best out there when it comes to slot sessions. Atleast on Bandit’s twitter we see the odd clip, or betslips like yesterday.
Any news about the 2nd part of Sunday Slots? Is there no backup available anywhere? It was quite annoying to be cut off in the middle of a session and not being able to watch part 2 🙁 A bit like when you’re having a play yourself and your internet or the casino site goes down.. you feel unsettled 😛
