Just need some advice really, I’ve had a terrible run this year and I thought yesterday my luck was in I got up to 290 quid on book of dead then i decided to go on reactoonz i stuck on the auto spins but by mistake I put the max bet on 100 pounds a spin 2 spins later 200 quid gone I thought I was on 20p I’ve spoken to paddy power they have said nothing they can do. I think this is wrong has anyone else had this happen to them ?? And have you got anything back , I dont bet over 20p surly they can see that
15th February 2020 at 10:22 am #91021Yep I’ve done it, and no, no refund was given. Just have to learn to double check in future I’m afraid. I guess they look at it….if you’d have hit big, would you have given the money back? But good luck if you do pursue it!
115th February 2020 at 10:24 am #91022Nick slots did 100 pound spin on reactoonz by mistake yesterday . Coincidence that your on here the next day , same stake , same game .
15th February 2020 at 10:45 am #91025What you trying to say outlaw?? I wouldn’t know I dont watch nick slots.. maybe it’s a mistake that happens alot on that game hold my hands up it was completely my mistake I was rushing to get the auto spins back on..
15th February 2020 at 11:19 am #91028Been there, done that. It’s a decent lesson to double check rather than rushing for the future!
115th February 2020 at 12:17 pm #91029This is something we’ve all done unfortunately! The casinos are right not to refund the money, otherwise other players could take advantage of that and make risk free high stake bets. As @Srx23 says, if you’d have won big, you wouldn’t be giving it back to the casino.
15th February 2020 at 1:49 pm #91033Worst I did was £10 spins instead of a £1 …. still felt stupid for doing it ..
15th February 2020 at 8:00 pm #91157Well about 5 or 6 years ago I was playing a Batman slot on Coral. As always I was playing £2 spins so adjusted the bet to say £2. Four presses later my entire 400 balance was gone and I realised to my horror that the £2 was bet per line and it was 50 lines….
I was incensed as the layout of the game showed really only the £2 like all other games so far too easy to think that was the total stake.
So I complained and got the old you wouldn’t have complained if you had won etc.
I pointed out I had been playing slots for 20 years so if I was duped anyone could be. I also pointed out I had never staked more than 2 a spin in my life.
I didn’t give up, managed to get through to a senior manager (I was that furious) who was great and rang me to offer me condolences etc and probably a £10 free bet. I just asked her to play the game herself and see what she thought. She came back 20 mins later and said she agreed it was incredibly misleading and based on the fact I had always staked £2 she would give me my £400 back!
Obviously I lost it all v quickly(!) but was grateful. Interestingly I noted that the game showed an error from that afternoon and was then removed completely. I have never seen the game since. Anyone remember it? Was nothing like the Batman slots out there now, just remember it had very big black Batman logo symbols as bonus triggers. Anyone remember it?
16th February 2020 at 10:03 am #91177You’re not actually serious that you should get the money back surely suck it up your mistake not theirs, you’ll laugh about it one day, pretty sure you wouldnt have given them the profit if you had won on the spins.
16th February 2020 at 10:04 am #91178Well this isnt true. You physcially need to scroll the bottom bar across 8 times to get to 100gbp stake.
16th February 2020 at 11:37 am #91183Sorry, not true? Why on earth would I make that story up?! If you reread, it was not a current Batman slot, it was one from years and years ago and I was just wondering if anyone else remembered that slot and whether it disappeared too for them. It was an extraordinary misjudgement in game design. Or, blatant attempts to mislead.
EDIT: whoops sorry I don’t think you were talking to me 🙂
17th February 2020 at 1:38 am #91223There is no way they will refund you. It would be very easy to abuse something like that.
Most of us have done max bet on accident, i was using spacebar to quick spin Railroad and hit one of the buttons above the spacebar which increased it to max bet (€10), i had 35 euro left and only noticed it was on max bet when the popup said i didnt have enough money.
17th February 2020 at 10:53 am #91238Happened to me a while back on Break da Bank – which shows the “bet per line” thing and makes you think that’s the total bet. It also defaults to something like £36 per spin when you open the game which is ridicilous. I only had one (losing obviously) spin and that cleared me out – but they agreed it was unfair and refunded me. But the OP is pissing in the wind if he thinks that he’s getting the money back since he actually chose the massive stake (albeit accidentally).
