Hey. Wondering if anyone can help. I deposited £10 into a new account on 888 last night. Just thought a tenner for a bit of fun. Anyway. Defying all odds I somehow managed from 20p bets up to spinning at £70 a go managed to get up to 10k from
that. All good and have clicked to withdraw only for them to suddenly block my account and said that there is another account associated that’s self excluded. I genuinely don’t remember ever setting up an 888 account and have went through bank statements and emails to check but can’t find anything. I’ve tried emailing but keep getting auto replies. Obviously ten grand is massive and super rare and like everyone i was already spending it. Just wondering if there’s anything I can do. Cheers
29th March 2020 at 2:01 pm #92557Not sure about 888 but i thought u wouldnt have able to even create an account if your card details or email are the same (im guessing its the same as thats how they would have known) as the other account in question so does seem a bit weird that thats the reason they gave u, hope it all gets sorted mate
29th March 2020 at 2:08 pm #92560I made one last week and I got an email saying my details matched but they allowed me to deposit and I withdrew £500 the next day with no issues.

Wish I had £1 for every time the online casino’s had gone through every possible one of their 3000 clauses to avoid paying out big wins. If you had lost £10,000 and they found you had self excluded they would have kept very quiet.
29th March 2020 at 2:45 pm #92578The best thing to do is to ask them which site you excluded with, with a date and time. Then go onto your bank statement and check what they’re saying. Do they have a live chat?

Casinomeister review of 888 Casino
“Over the years, we have had numerous complaints of players unknowingly playing at their white label casinos and being either bonus banned or winnings/deposits confiscated. These casinos will not identify themselves as 888.com/Cassava white labels when signing up – only when they confiscate your winnings will they do this.
It’s predatory, unethical, and rogue.

I’ve had the same thing happen. it simply should not happen though. I pissed and whinged and got my initial deposit back as they said they were going to “void” it. found it best now if I register on poker sites(the only place i gamble) to ask live support if I have any accounts linked to me or my address or card details ..

Any update on this one?
30th March 2020 at 8:07 pm #92676888 have more than one site under their license. They have to be doing good from somewhere. I’m sure the UKGC would sort them out if they wasnt sticking to rules.
19th April 2020 at 1:01 am #93391Hi. No update. They emailed me saying I would be refunded the deposit which I was But still no winnings. I can see the withdrawl still processing. Have tried emails to the customer support with the questions you guys suggested and they’ve sent back generic replies or just repeating. Haven’t actually had any acknowledgment about it all really. Giving it till Monday then I’ll see what I can do next if anything
9th April 2020 at 9:27 am #93415Did you ask them which casino you were supposed to have self excluded with?
12th April 2020 at 4:36 am #93836They’ve pretty much ignored me. I got an email today saying ‘ congratulations on your winnings ‘ but not addressing anything just seemed like a pre written generic email. Kinda cruel too if they don’t give me any of them
12th April 2020 at 7:58 am #93843Did you try Casinomeister as suggested above? I’m not saying they’re amazing but they are a recognised arbitration service. You could ask to issue a PAB if the casino is taking the piss. Best of luck!
