Evening all!
can I start by saying what I’m about to say is in no way a dig at the bandit or any online gambling affiliate.. (apart from nick slots to be fair)
i have recently discovered I have a huge gambling problem (41k in the last 8 weeks) I’ve lost my friends, buisness and family over this apparent socially accepted problem…
the point of my post is I would like to see people like the bandit, rocknrolla maybe push a bit harder on the damage gambling does.. better still get together and maybe attempt to change the game and create a “body” of professional gamblers that can help people like myself not financially I don’t mean.. but maybe do a series of updated flogs about how damaging gambling is.. I understand both have done in the past and referred to it but I feel it could be very easy to watch these videos and like myself (not you guys fault) that this isn’t play money.. I would like to see the guys take a stand and attempt to influence the industry helping the problem gamblers …
just a thought guys my wounds are well and truly licked and im on the way to recovery be interested to see you guys thoughts on this
5th February 2019 at 2:09 pm #46503Rockandrolla has done many videos about how bad gambling is and the effects hes had from it and bandit in every video promotes gamban and so on and tbh always states his videos show the bad side and want to show people that tbh this post is just pointless as they both do everything to help people with problems

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone more open and honest about his own gambling, affiliation and dangers of gambling. Promoting gamstop and giving codes for months free with gamban. Every win comes with caution to other players and losses for that matter. Willing to risk his own money on a new slot to show others how the game plays. i e 7.5k down on holy diver. Maybe I’m wrong but thinking about it I don’t see what else can be said or done.

He is constantly saying in his videos about the dangers of gambling, warning people about particular slots that tend to drag you in like Viking’s and Extra Chilli and on top of that he paid for people to use Gamban not to mention a few times where he has bailed people out of horrible predictaments they got themselves in. A few months back some guy went crazy on Wild Swarm and Bandit was generous enough to give him most of the money back after he had a big win on it. For me Bandit and Rolla go above and beyond to promote responsible gambling. The truth is however as harsh as this may sound is that this advice often falls upon deaf ears until people do their bollocks in. I’ve often played beyond my means and lost the lot and I knew exactly the dangers of gambling but in my head at that time it was “Yeah, but I might get lucky this time” in most cases you never do but it’s that optimism that causes you to do something silly.
15th February 2019 at 4:09 pm #46528There’s nothing more the bandit can do. He promotes gambling software and offers it free of charge to users for an initial period. Posts loosing videos and constantly warns others of the dangers of gambling.
I can understand why you would want to see more done, but there has to be a realistic element to how much not gambling can be promoted.

As for Gambling addiction I think the streamers do touch upon on it enough and try to help or at least point people in the right direction. Ultimately it is the individuals responsibility to manage their gambling and put blocks in place if it is becoming a problem. Whether I join a Casino though affiliate marketing or not when the money is lost, it is lost! I don’t give a shit if it goes to the casino or the affiliate who I linked through.

His reaction always seem fake as fuck. That’s the main reason. And i really think he doesent tell the full story on what kind of affiliate he is either.

How proactive were the streamer/affiliates regarding gambling problems before they got banned on youtube?
The gambling industry contributes to their income stream, they just have to been seen to meeting the criteria imposed upon them.
Personally I think we are told as a society what we can and can’t do all to much.
Working, the incomes that come from working and what the money goes towards providing the essentials for living are the main causes of problems in this country.
Everything else is nanny state interference.

Not watched the lad in a long while, nothing much against him TBH. Used to think everytime he bonused was like the “Goldfish effect” referring to the comparison when a Goldfish memory cycle would refresh each time it swam round its bowl.
Book of Dead bonus!, what happens here? Only seen it 5000 times already.
