I signed up to gamstop for 6 months although I kept it going for 11… however with Cheltenham festival around the corner and my love for horse racing I just had to get involved again and therefore temporarily removed my gamstop restriction.
I’ve really enjoyed my time away and gamstop really helped me out of a hole, I am now in a comfortable enough place where I can enjoy the festival next week although I will be taking up another exclusion after the festival has finished as I prefer to keep my gambling out the way of temptation!
I usually get my missus to put on my football bet on a Saturday, but can’t expect her to know what she’s doing/ want to sit in a bookies all afternoon Tuesday-Friday to get my horse bets on!!
last night I thought I would try my luck to win a nice balance for the festival on a site called ‘reel wins casino’ the reason I used this site is because you can’t stake massive amounts on the live casino per spin and they also have a diabolical selection of slots so I wouldn’t be tempted to lose the profit I made rather than withdraw. Anyway, I managed to win £1,800 and withdrew. I sent my documents last night and had an email saying they were verified by 9.30 this morning and had the money in my bank by 11am. I don’t use any e wallets etc so thought that was much quicker than I’ve experienced anywhere else!!
money has now been put aside for the festival with a nice healthy profit to go along with!

I really have no idea!! After the original email saying my documents were accepted I thought the ‘withdrawal success’ email would be that it wasn’t pending anymore. Checked my online banking though and the money was in there!

Thanks mate. There’s a lot of unpredictable races this year after the build up some horses have had so think there may be a few upsets. Won’t be going mental on the stakes for that reason but will enjoy it more being able to shout home a runner up that hill
