Well on and off. Not so much these days. You realise after a few decades the only real winner is the pub/casino/arcade.

Strange post, no detail whatsoever and when pressed your fave games are wish upon a jackpot and topcat which are online only…

Would be interested to hear more about the older games you played tbh,  if you did.

I don’t know if top cat is available in arcades/pubs/casinos but I’ve definitely played wish upon a jackpot in a pub because the first spin was a griffin tease and I harnessed the inner bandit with my language lol

i used to love the 5p/£5 machines around 16-17 years ago, stuff like Rollercoaster and Pie Factory and Crystal Maze etc, was so much more about enjoyment and not just money grabbing

Xbobmad is right.  Wish Upon a Jackpot is available in pubs and arcades, along with most of the other Blueprints.

All this talk of the good ol days of £4.80 token jackpots……….Has anyone on here been to Reel Fruits and or Mr P’s in Kent ? I’ll get there one day , just don’t think I’ll want to come home lol. Full of the old style fruits from the 1990’s into the early 2000’s. Best thing , no deal or no deals in sight 🙂

Some cracking stuff over the years.

Remember cutting my teeth on Win-A-Gain, Nudge Bug, Firecracker had an awesome double/nothing gamble which if it potted then the JP could hold several times.

Emptiers/Manipulators aside, the game play and profit was great.

Teenage years – Money Trapper / Screen Play / Big Shot all great games.

Student years it was Project mania – 7 Heavens, hi tecs like Last Orders / Chico The Bandit / The Warden. An early computer screen one called Dungeon Master – then full blown CG with Reno Reels / Sunburst / Monte Carlo etc.

I swear the the only reason I came out of my student years with no overdraft was down to the fruits.

Then machines starting turning worse – the golden era of JPM’S came and went – Ace coin was no longer and BFM rained supreme with the DOND brand. We all became great box readers and COB pot chasers.

Then you get towards today and rigged boxes / heavily controlled percentages and flat profiles. I still play pub and Hi Tec but a lot of my playing is now Lo Tec £100 JP’s where knowing their cycles and history is key to making money.

The best feeling was having a day when your token pocket never ran out and wisely taking cash out of machines before replenishing tokens meant and ever growing profit in the cash pocket.
