Just after a bit of advice put a bet on in betfred the bet I wanted was USA to win both teams to score vs France was a special on screen so went to the bloke behind the counter he says the odds is 5.2 but told me they boosted both teams score either team to win 3.1 so had that anyway went today to collect bet says it’s void because that price was only if I put it on via a coupon not wrote out

In a word.. no. If they’ve advised on the bet, and accepted the bet once you’ve placed it; it’s a struck bet.

Only exception would be for palpable errors (obvious errors); and as a boost from 5/2 to 3/1 doesn’t seem to be an obvious error.

Call their Customer Support team; and raise it.

yes. as aligata has said, thats bullshit.

quite often the minimum wage staff members dont know their arse from their elbow, as the same time they advised you of the bet, they should have advised you that it had to be done on the coupon. its their error
