Evening all
After nearly 20 years stuck in the same job, I have finally taken a big leap and start my new career tomorrow and I have bandit to thank!
My new job is minimum wage for 2-3 months while I train, this is going to be a struggle for myself and my young family, however it wouldn’t have been possible at all if I hadn’t used bandits link to gamban and subsequently gamstop.
I (hopefully) now have enough set aside to boost my paltry £270 a week pay so I can pay the bills until I’m trained and this has been achieved by saving the pennies I used to throw at several online casinos regularly!
Thanks again Bandit for providing a way out of uncontrollable gambling and therefore giving me a chance at a new career!
Peace and carrots

7th January 2019 at 5:47 am #35056£270 a week fuck me you should of done this 20 yrs ago lowest iv been on since i was 16 is
£380 a week that pennies im out of work atm but when i go back will be 70+ hours £14+ hr how do u survive on £270? where you from
117th January 2019 at 7:22 am #35061Yeah mate £270 a week is brutal! That’s the minimum wage for u….I don’t know how people do it permanently! I’m used to nearly double that!
Thankfully it’s only temporary and hopefully I’ve worked out my finances properly so I can get by!
7th January 2019 at 12:16 pm #35095I think it’s a case of living to your means. I’ve been on some sickening wages in the past (500 a day for 9 weeks, 3 weeks off but kept on a 250 a day retainer, did that for 2 years) and some shit wages (9 ph).
I found that when I was on a bigger wage I lived more extravagantly, now I’m on a good wage for what I do and I live well but a lot less stress and more time at home. It depends on personal circumstances and everyone is different. A posties on 270 a week might seam low to some, to others it will be high. All depends on the work life balance, how many hours a week your working and how much time you get at home. As long as the basic bills are covered, I don’t think it matters.
11th January 2019 at 6:51 pm #36766Well its the end of my first week of training and I’m shattered!
Who knew that being a bus driver was so tiring, I even fell asleep watching last nights bandit video….shocking! (Don’t worry I’ve just watched the rest and caught up with the war and peace thread too!)
I’m looking forward to 2 days off with some sleep, some beer and hopefully a winning footie bet to fill the wallet since I don’t get paid for this week ?
Have a good weekend all
11th January 2019 at 6:56 pm #36770Well done man a friend of mine recently made the very same transition and he is loving being a bus driver it’s all he goes on about on Facebook lol that and his new found hatred of cyclists ?
1111th January 2019 at 6:58 pm #36771Congrats on making it through the first week ? you’ll be fully trained and earning properly in no time ??
