So Bonanza is, without a doubt, one of the most difficult slots to bonus on. The main reasons for this are a) the base game is incredibly kind and b) the average bonus pays 103x which is very generous and c) the potential from the bonus is exceptionally high. These are three positive factors that render the RTP too high, so this has to be offset by the provider by making the bonus very hard to land.

The average bonus time, based on current community stats, is 1 in 471 spins. Armed with this information, you can use the table below to see the probability of landing a bonus in x number of spins.

So what does this mean? Basically, each individual spin has an chance of 0.2% chance of landing, equivalent to 1 in every 471 spins. If you were to set off from scratch, with the intention of doing 200 spins and then leaving, you have roughly a 1 in 3 chance of landing a bonus during that time. Set off for over 5,000 spins from start to finish? The chances are you will almost certainly land a bonus, with only a mere 0.002% chance of that not happening at the 5,000 mark.

    Hope this all makes sense.

    @Biohazard

You can smash out as many figures and percentages as you want pal!

It doesent change the the fact that Bonanza is the worst game ever to be concieved by man.

Ive read so many topics on this game now, that its so fucking obvious that this cancerous game is rigged to not give bonuses.

And the base game does not pay well at all. It may pay decent for your first 50-100 spins

But then it rapes your arse!

    Hope this helps ?

I actually think Bonanza proves that we all share the same slot, maybe per casino though. I haven’t done well on it but a friend did amazingly well from the get go.

Oh JB… you never fail to entertain. Let’s discuss.

You can smash out as many figures and percentages as you want pal!

This statement is a bit confusing… you do realise all I did was provide some stats for the slot, right? I never actually gave my personal opinion on whether I thought it was good or not, so why are you trying to argue with me? Personally, I don’t think it’s anywhere close to being the worst game out there, but we all have our opinions on that!

Ive read so many topics on this game now, that its so fucking obvious that this cancerous game is rigged to not give bonuses.
So your definition of rigged is having a bonus with a lower trigger rate than other slots? The average is 1 in 471. That is low af. I can only assume that you have struggled to bonus this slot and have been bitter about it ever since. It isn’t rigged, stop kidding yourself.

If you’re going to make statements like this, at least back them up with evidence.

And the base game does not pay well at all. It may pay decent for your first 50-100 spins
Well this doesn’t make sense at all, as slots are not compensated and will not reduce your winrate the more you spin. The only exceptions to this are games that have an upgrade system, where the RTP shifts from the base game to the feature (e.g. Wild Swarm).

Bonanza is renowned for having an excellent base game, hence why many people recommend it for use as a wagering slot. Your personal experience does not make something a fact – this is something else that you’ll have to learn sooner or later.

Top info Bio Hazard, really interesting breakdown. Not sure why JB is trying to argue with you !!

Do you have any comparative stats for other games that appear to have better paying bonuses (I.e knights life / magic mirror would be interesting) – I would say hey too probably average around 100x (but I’m just guessing) although are perhaps less kind in the base than the likes of Bonanza ?

JB does argue, and really annoys me a good 80% of the time. But every good forum needs it’s what if guy that questions pretty much everything and that is our JB.

If he drinks I’ll get him a beer if the backinamo meet up ever happens… if he dares to turn up ??

Ps, interesting stats @biohazard have we got a Donuts one? It would be interesting to see the stats of a 500x+ donut box opening as well

Donuts bonuses 1 in 273, on average. The average bonus pays 88x. No stats for specific things like the 500x boxes @Xbobmad – sorry!

As much as I’d love to give you a positive result on that, even the best case scenario doesn’t look too healthy… ?
