Hey all,
Just wondering what you all think of the Book of Oz respin feature? Personally I’ve tried it once (on low stakes) and now I won’t go near it again. I did around 3-4 respins just to see if I could land a third book to bonus and never came near once, when you have 2 books the price of a respin goes up tremendously to the point that after a few spins it’s not even worth it as you won’t get the money back from the bonus. I decided to try it out on free play, got the balance up to 4k from 2.5k and landed 2 book and proceeded to respin a reel until it came in…well it took the entire balance so just be careful! When I first saw it I thought it looked like another quick way for the casino to drain your balance but thought I’d give it a try just for the sake of trying it out. I think this is the first slot I’ve seen with this feature added and honestly it saddens me a bit along with the bonus buy feature as it’s just another way to suck the enjoyment out of slots and your balance. I know a lot of people will most likely fall for it but if you haven’t already played this slot and are thinking about trying it out just stick to normal spins as it’s just not worth it. Thought I’d post this to have a bit of a moan with the direction slots are going and to warn people who may not yet have tried this slot out and may be enticed at the thought of having another crack at landing a missed tease.
Personally, I’d much rather play Book of Dead over Oz as it doesn’t seem to offer anything new or exciting over than that respin. The music, graphics and feel to the game are much inferior to Dead also. Just my opinion, do you guys/gals like this slot?

It just rips out the fun for me, you’re paying a fortune in the hope of one result really, you may as well just bet a colour on roulette.
It’s the same sort of reason why I’m undecided on feature buys also. I do utilise them on a couple of slots, but overall I’d like to see less of them.
12nd January 2019 at 6:37 pm #33703Yeah, the feature buys can be hit and miss but I feel like they ultimately miss. I honestly felt sick to my stomach watching Bandit doing the Fat Santa feature buys as only a very small amount gave any sort of win and big wins where few and far between with most returning less than £20….biggest con going that Fat Santa feature buy. I normally don’t touch them but on games that are notorious to bonus I’ll occasionally give them a shot.
13th January 2019 at 10:08 am #37304I’ve played this game and it seems to be pretty easy to bonus (for me at least) just by quick spins. It is just another version of every book game. I feel though like the respin would never come in, so I wouldn’t even be tempted to pay the price for it.
18th January 2019 at 10:18 am #39950I’ve played this on betray recently at £2 stake for features. I respond the reels at 1p until I get a tease then £9 spin the cheapest reel and have averaged a feature drop in around every 10 spins or so max so it’s probably around £100 for a feature had a few decent wins from the bonus
