I might get some stick for this but the uploads to YouTube are so boring and repative buy after buy after buy. I’ve watched for years when you was at casumo but it does look like your paid to play nowadays I can’t blame you but the videos have gone from a 10/10 to 2/10

You can lose interest and point it out, AND it’s not a complaint, more just a ‘how it is’ thing. However :

I lost interest in watching my favourite slot streamer. He’s still my favourite streamer but I just don’t watch him anymore. I’m not complaining, just saying how I feel. I’ve watched Ye Ol Bandit for a very long time and I’ll be honest, I miss the original way he played. It felt VERY real. Pin it on whatever you like, this content just doesn’t keep me watching and I feel there are a few reasons why.

If there were fuckall else to do in life, I would be protesting, placards and banners an everyfink.

Remember when I had a tear in my eye from laughing so much.
Remember the ridiculously high anxiety when gambling vikings unleashed megaways.
Remember when you could predict a “bandit’s gonna need to lay down” seconds before he did and it was such a mixture of emotions.
Remember the competitions and giveaways, I won one and put the money money towards good things, not gambling.
Remember when VS or another twat-head company would give payout problems and bandit would tear them a new one.

Personal I know, but I still cherish the memory of deal or no deal for the mrs asda spending spree.

So much more to reminisce. None of this is a complaint.

Yeah, I agree and watch less nowadays. Not much he can do about it though as probably showing most of the best slots and obviously the videos have been prolific for months now. I guess for the revenue stream, volume is the most important metric. The good news is we can dip in and out as not costing us anything to watch. There is nothing in the videos which encourage me to dip my toe into casinos again. For most of us a waste of money and more importantly a waste of our precious time.

Your last sentence is a really excellent point mate.

I agree 100%! I’ve found The Bandit channel before his surgery (like 6 or 7 years ago) and I remember how intense and emotional it was to watch those videos!

I understand that things have changed. Slots are way faster, way more volatile with way more potential but to me, it’s not the main point because we can’t control it right?

The main “problem” I have with nowadays videos is the lack of spontaneity. Back in the days, we had some “story building” between the bonuses, we had some great laughs when “Griffin” showed up, when the genie on Genie Jackpots trolled him. We had adrenaline pump when he decided to go to Wonky Wabbits at £16 just because he was feeling it! In other words, we had alot of spontaneous things that made each video unique and thrilling! Now, I dont think it’s boring but flat would be a better word to describe it. We just have bonus after bonus without anything in between. (Base game hit, troll, mega teases that miss and so on)

Nowadays I skip at least 1/3 of the video and when it’s done, I watch the old ones to have fun. For all the “new guys” here, I strongly recommend to watch some of his old videos from 5-6-7 years ago. You will surely understand what I mean.

Anyway, I still like The Bandit and will continue to support him, hoping to see every now and then some old school style videos!

Oh and sorry for my mediocre english but it’s not my main language 😀

Sorry but Steve is the best streamer out of all of the other streamers if you don’t like his content then jog on but don’t criticise him for helping others not to gamble because Steve helps me not to gamble I was a very big gambler who was Also in prison for gambling. Watching his videos helps me from doing the bad shit I used to do to feed my compulsive addiction.

I started watching because I was going through cancer treatment about five years ago and some nights couldn’t sleep, well that and listening to the radio. I seem to have got into the habit of watching for ~20mins since it became so prolific although mostly fast forwarding to certain games.

There is a risk is it actually encourages us gamble by keeping it in our minds and although I’m sure he is honest, cutting out all the boring stuff and buying bonuses is completely unrealistic of how play is for UK players.
