Hi everyone,
This post isn’t to cause trouble or point fingers, I just wondered if anyone can shed any light on an issue I’ve come across and it seems that it violates a casinos rules and would lead to account closure and potentially money revoked for us none streamers.
I won’t name the guy, however I’m sure you’ll get who it is, the person recently moved to Ireland and has two others that either stream with him or on his channel when he’s back in England.
I was watching a stream of his this morning, being streamed by his two sidekicks he is back in England they was playing at some place called 21betshop.
Just before the end of the balance one of those reality check messages popped up, which started, Hi (account holders real first name) you’ve been playing x amount of time blah blah blah… One of the sidekicks very very quickly just clicked the message away.
However it got me thinking these two players are playing on a account where the account holder is not present I fact not even in the same country. So I headed over to the casinos website and took a read through the terms and conditions of the casino and low and behold its actually against the terms of said casino to allow 3rs party access to your account. I’m guessing this casino knows its being promoted on YouTube and knows how the channel works on YouTube and that the owner of the channel is not always using the account, so therfore is knowingly breaking its own terms in order to advertise to gain new customers. This is what really really annoys me about this industry the way how they can blatantly break rules advertising yet if you go 20p over the stake limit when wagering they shadt you.
I’m just wondering before I make a complaint to advertising standards and the ukgc if anyone knows why these third parties his sidekicks would be allowed to use his own personal account.
15th August 2021 at 12:09 pm #110140To put it blatantly mate it’s not allowed so if that’s the route you want to go down your within your rights to do so your not allowed to do what they are doing it’s does break t&c’s if it was me, you or any none affiliate the account would get closed due to not being allowed 3rd party involvement, I know who you are referring to and regardless of the casino it’s not prohibited on any of them you simply can’t do it but they clearly think they can and they’ll be in a bit bother if they don’t have a viable excuse for it.
5th August 2021 at 4:57 pm #110169I’m guessing he has got the ok to do it . Because will he be doing the deposit from the UK , and then they play . I remember bandits wife , pressed to gamble on reel king or deal or no deal ,and somebody actually said they could confiscate winnings because he not pressing it 😆.

That’s fucking mental isn’t it, my Mrs presses a but and I could lose it…. My head would explode
5th August 2021 at 7:05 pm #110183Regarding the post tho, they probably have a deal where they are advertising the casinos, so the rules are slightly bent, again if they are doing it and are allowed to do it ( even tho we know the rules say no) we can assume they have a deal and will confirm a lot of the stories about legitimacy
5th August 2021 at 7:08 pm #110184I ment “confirmation lot of the stories about the lack of legitimacy “
5th August 2021 at 7:28 pm #110187I’m pretty sure Fruity Slots got permission for what they are doing. Those guys and other affiliates have always done this – an account can’t be in two names but we often see two or more players using that same account
I don’t think it’s untoward as they share funds for a business endeavour, so they are “one account” from the POV of the business
The laws regarding not letting others use your account are about responsible gambling and money laundering. From that POV I think FS are OK
What might be of interest is them gambling in the ROI or EU without having ROI or EU citizenship (Josh, Scotty). They are UK citizens who still live full-time in the UK but use EU proxies to circumvent UK restrictions on their gambling activities. Pretty sure in the long-run they will have to get citizenship and move to the EU if they want to keep that going (it’s possible Jamie already has an EU passport)
TBH I don’t think FS are breaking any ASA guidelines with regards more than one person per account, although there may be a case to answer with ASA and UKGC about using EU gambling services to advertise and make money in the UK. I have nothing against FS I think they are the 2nd best streamers, possibly the best streamers due to their volume of content
If you want to make an ASA complaint do so against Lord Ping casino, their sisters and affiliates, plus all the streamers using their services – CHIPMONKZ, Spinitin, angryslots, bobslots and others. The T&C of Lord Ping (and others) specifically prohibit affiliates from depositing at their casinos, yet we have these streamers present that to us as REAL MONEY PLAY and encourage us to sign up at the casino to engage in real money play. I personally have made a complaint against all of them and against Lord Ping with ASA
5th August 2021 at 11:32 pm #110196I’ve called Bob slots out about this lord ping scenario and said the same thing I just get called a troll and message deleted, when the actual truth is what the terms and conditions say, just telling the truth as it couldn’t possibly be real money if affiliates can’t have real money accounts but there you go and the actual post is about chipmunks, he is in the uk and then two clowns doing his work are in Ireland using his accounts to play again stating terms and conditions 3rd party involvement isn’t allowed and there not only play but supposedly depositing and shit it’s simply prohibited but with all this shit as affiliates they get away with it and that’s why you can call it what you like but it’s not painting the true picture of gambling I can’t do any of this and many on this forum can’t do it so how are they allowed? And you can say there working for the company it’s a business bull shit but at the end of the day it’s not a real life scenario and they shouldn’t be encouraging and promoting gambling if it’s not how it would be for any other person but it’s like talking to a brick wall!

so it’s not a shock they’d cut down any dialogue highlighting it.

Almost as bad as watching the stream to try and find something to complain about, christ just don’t watch and don’t let it bother your day

Not at all, I have been the victim of the bullshit rules and flimsy terms and conditions for a hefty amount, how is it fair that chip can do what he wants, bend the rules, break the rules and get away with it? He may have some deal with one of his many shady casinos he uses but say someone signs up thru the parasites link and falls foul of the bullshit ts and Cs and doesn’t get paid out? Chips go to response or way to deal with it is to call them trolls or delete them, hea as rogue a streamer as u get and deserves all he gets, I say good on the op for reporting him, sooner pricks like chip get dealt with the better!!

Makes no difference (under UKGC terms, not sure bout ROI though), if anything that argument makes it worse as there is no proof of fund ownership – it’s the same as if you were a sole trader in the UK, even though everything is is your name, you still can’t use the funds to gamble with.
I’m just wondering before I make a complaint to advertising standards and the ukgc if anyone knows why these third parties his sidekicks would be allowed to use his own personal account. They’re not allowed under UKGC legislation, even if granted permission to do so. I’m surprised all of the game developers and Entain are so heavily involved with this guy anyway. There’s an old video of him (whilst still living in the UK) explaining that he’s using the other persons money to play with.
