Yeah i am looking around for that sort of charity, perhaps a little closer to home though, i have found a couple of similar ones but will continue to look, i think the money will be very well received by a small to medium level charity rather than one of the big boys perhaps, of course i will have to investigate legitimacy a little more but i think it will be the way forward 😀

Just an idea Steve but how about maybe split it between 2 or  3 charities as the pot is pretty large now thanks to Paul and that way the benefit is shared around

I’d say that was before i went through all that guff of sending them every detail of my life mate, they said they would just send the money through to my bank. I’l obviously post up receipts of where it has all gone, don’t worry lol

Excited to see how this goes on, just for my own interest did you decide on a private cremation of Bruce or a burial as I’ve got my old cat who sadly died from diabetes sat on my mantle piece in a nice box that came with a beautiful poem

Bruce is indeed sat here in the same sort of box i would imagine, the wife has ordered a sleeping cat container i think, he will sit near the fire i would imagine.

 

I’ve looked for the emails that gofundme were reeling off about how the first withdrawal would be x amount then the next would be x amount and so on but i can’t find them, must have just been something on their site so no idea what will happen there Andy lol

From the email you have, they say there is a hold? A hold for what, why did they ask me a trillion questions and then say you are now beneficiary etc and so on if there is a hold lol, nowt ever straight forward is it 😀

Possibly takes a couple of days before the most recent donations are confirmed as left bank accounts? Then it’ll show as withdrawable?

I think they put the hold on as they need to know the names of places it is potentially going to. Fuck knows to be honest mate I’ve never done one of these crowdfunding things before. Thought it would be easy hahaha learning as we go

It’s safe where it is i guess and i’ve no idea where it’s going right now so they can just wait can’t they lol Pickles my brain that they needed to know EVERYTHING, and i mean a shit ton of information about me my name my address my card my bank my shoe size almost when it seems they needed none of that, annoying!
