12nd August 2019 at 9:38 pm #76098Freeplay sites are still working so the servers are up at least…. @eejit101 will know I’m sure
12nd August 2019 at 9:52 pm #76100I play free play on casumo, noticed all BTG have been removed and my mate said they don’t work on videoslots
2nd August 2019 at 10:24 pm #76102Could this be that casinos are removing BTGs because of the new (April 2019) gambling taxes? VS in particular have been lowering the slot RTP to approx. 94% by selecting a lower maths model, which most providers offer. BTG slots only had 1 maths model, typically 96%, so having BTGs still on board meant less profit for the wealthy execs (in their air-conditioned boardroom) and the shareholders. Hopefully this is just tin foil hats, but this thread has generated suspicion in me and I tend to be cynical.
A shame because BTG is (or was) my favourite provider.

NYX/Scientific is having some issues with it, as they have just migrated some games over to the Relax network (Relax/Push/Quickspin) so its all going a bit…. weird. Should be fixed within a day or so. VEry odd videoslots hasnt removed them though. Seems lazy

I thought it was better when the providers used their own launchers e.g. BTG used BTG’s own one. Mix-and-matching I think just confuse the punters.

As for casino platforms, I dont have a clue. Maybe eejit will know?

Three reasons. In order of important…
1 – Cost. Having a team doing solely integrations costs you about 100k a year minimum.
2 – Time – It takes about 3-10 weeks to do an integration to a new casino or platform of casino (i.e EveryMatrix, Nektan, or ours) Times this by however many caisnos want you… takes time.
3 – Selling it. YOu need stands at conferences (50k+), sales teams (200k+), Account managers (100k+), merch (50k), marketing (300k), sponsorship of things (200k) the list goes on.
SO they cut all of this out by using another companies Platform or RGS (Remote game server) to do the work. BTG could sell direct to casinos at high market pricing, about 12-14% of the casino net profit. But they take deals with SG/NYX/Relax/Microgaming at 9% to save time, money, effort, and increase the money they spend, and the time they spend on, game and mechanics/maths.
Hope that helps.
