I think that it’s a bit naive to not accept that part of the idea of the giveaway was to generate new sign ups to the site otherwise he could have just given the money away to people who were registered at the time of the announcement.

That being said I’m not having a go at the bandit, it is what it is. Yes it was generous of him etc but obviously part of the idea behind it was to generate more traffic to the site to perhaps get more people signing up using the affiliate links. It’s business, defend his character and generosity all you want and I’ll agree with you but let’s not bury our heads in the sand.

I’m not saying Steve doesn’t want more visitors, more traffic, more viewers, more growth….I’m sure he does. But I am saying if anyone thinks he went “I’m doing a six grand giveaway and you don’t have to use any of my casino links to take part” in order to get more people to use his casino links, he may not be quite the shrewd business genius some of the cynics on this thread seem to think he is.

I believe him. I know the Bandit is sincere, so when he says “I did this because I thought it’d be nice to give people who can’t enter my normal monthly prize draws the chance to take part in one at Christmas”, I am happy to take his word on that. If other people aren’t, fair enough, but as I said above opening a prize draw with the specific proviso you don’t have to have used his affiliate link to take part is a strategically poor way of getting people to click your affiliate links.

I’d wager Steve’s made more profit from his last 2 videos than he makes from affiliation in a year. Yes, it’s one of his income streams but I don’t think it’s nearly as important or vital to him as some people believe.

It’s not free. Its all funded by sign ups and deposits. Yeah some ppl don’t sign up therfore get it for free. But don’t be naive to think it’s not paid for by the veiwers. Hypa and trono ect are free. But sorry the bandit isn’t

Its amazing the entitlement shown by some in this thread…and surprise suprise it’s the people who WASNT part of the community before the FREE prize draw was announced and most likely didn’t sign up to one of Bandits links to help support him.

You already get FREE content year round which Steve doesn’t have to bother sharing.

Yes it sucks that the people who actually do support Bandit doesn’t have a chance to win it but as for the rest of the free loaders get a grip, it’s no doubt these people that signed up multiple times anyways. The fact that it’s going to charity should be enough, it’s going to help out a lot more people than most likely the few that would have put it through the slots.

The decision of The Bandit in all matters under his control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into”

The decision was made, and that should be the end of it. I wonder what JB thinks of this? ??
