@bjm86 (blowjob man?) That cheered my morning up no end. Would you call me a “bottom feeder” in real life? I suspect not, you jumped up little keyboard warrior. I think you need to read everything I’ve written you little prick, I’m no parasite and certainly not holding my cap out for a handout, I’m simply representing the “other” side as most of the fan-boys here are championing the decision to cancel a prize draw after it’s supposed to have happened.  I’m glad that the charities are getting the money, but this draw wasn’t for charity was it, the video was recorded as a Christmas giveaway for the forum. I’m not in need of money and I never for a moment expected to win anything, neither do I feel entitled, I just said it leaves a very nasty taste when something is put in place to get the forum members buzzing then it’s taken away.

Sounds about right. First of all I didn’t call you a bottom feeder, read it properly and you’ll see it says “you, and all the bottom feeders”. You see the punctuation is the key there.
It says a lot about you that you immediately get aggressive throwing insults when you don’t like what someone has said about you / the rubbish you posted.

Shame you didn’t afford the same consideration to Bandit before you threw your opinions around, that would be a balanced view.

Truth is that people signed up to a website, which has no monetary value whatsoever, bandit doesn’t monetise the forum and it would need to go some 100 fold to get anywhere near being possible.

The sad thing is that posts like yours are probably only reinforcing the feeling that he won’t want to go a free giveaway again, he tried to do something nice and morons spoilt it. To add salt into the wounds he gets this kind of rubbish thrown at him too.

BJM – blow job MASTER, cant even get that right. ?

@theguy no the forum isn’t monetised, the website obviously contains his links but the forum itself isn’t monetised.

What I was trying to get at is there is little or no benefit to Bandit for people signing up to his site, he gets nothing for that alone.

Forums often have deals with various advertisers etc for active users which would be different.

Compare how many entered in paid giveaways this month versus last one.  He made bank with this “free giveaway” and I don’t know he uses email and name info that we were required to provide in order to enter.

That’s a fair point but I have a vague memory that he did say something about loads of people signing up to those giveaways in error.

<span style=”font-size: 1rem;”>I guess only Bandit would have that answer but even if the giveaway signups delivered a net profit, it’s very unlikely to be to the tune of £6k which he is still giving away.</span>

@BJM86 I’m not an expert, but quick google search says that casinos will pay $50-$250 per depositing player. That or revenue share program. Even if it’s only $50 then multiplying it with new sign-ups (~3k) is 150k profit. Not bad for 6k donation to charity.

This is exactly what I thought, if 10 percent of the people who entered the competition signed up to new casinos at £50 each, that’s £60,000 !

Those definitely could be real sign-ups because his video is trending on Youtube – https://twitter.com/YouBanditTube/status/1211419079724146689

Congrats to bandit and a few charities. To the rest of you – keep gambling. That is if you have signup through his link. If you haven’t then fudge off.

@ LCA81 & @theguy there are a lot of people here who know much more about that than I do who are better placed to comment on that. I think your numbers are VERY inflated however, if it was that easy every one on here would be doing the same.

If the kind of marketing I get involved with for my company is anything like representative 1-2% conversation rate is good, certainly not 10.

But as I say some of the guys here can offer much better insight into that than I can.

Nice to see some genuine replies for a change without the insults! Thanks! 🙂

Your right it is only guess work for the most part because the whole issue of money made from affiliates is so secretive, but I’ve heard from other sources that you can either take a percentage from a player who signs up for there life time or a one off payment

What? T&C for all of them:

REQUIREMENTS : Sign up to Betfair through the link above and have a bash on the slots!
You will be required to provide your Betfair email to enter this draw via the website.
Simply become active by making a deposit at any point in the active month.

Unless I’m missing something then it says that I have to use your link and make a deposit…

Video slots has always been that way and betfair and paddy power was changed to that months ago and was said numerous time in video and on here the T&C’s just needed updating that is all. So in total over 3 out of 4 regular prize draws dont require you to use his link.
