I don’t really understand why individuals are throwing out the “rules” book at people. All Bandit says in the forum laws is “have fun and play nice”. Apart from that, Seedy has pointed out guidelines that should be followed but that’s it. There’s no Golden Rule Book. Just the hope that people will have some common sense when discussing/debating issues with each other.
28th April 2019 at 10:23 pm #63180Casinos are not there for entertainment. I’ve been thinking about this and i strongly believe these high volatile games are almost impossible to play for entertainment purposes. These games can still take up to £100 pound an hour on as little as 20p stake. So tell me who can afford to lose £100 pounds an hour cos i can’t. I’m beginning to believe there is no possible way to play a slot for entertainment without risking a decent amount of money unless your prepared to play for about 5 mins and that’s hardly entertaining. Roulette is worse as i class the game as the quickest way to win and lose in gambling. Entertaining gambling is putting a £5 acca on that gives you 90 minutes of fun or a 50p lucky 15 or a £1 placepot. Playing slots is impossible to play for entertainment without the risk of losing a substantial amount of money and that is exactly why people ended up doing their balls in. Why because they lose so fast and they feel they haven’t had their fix of game time so they re deposit and again until they get into chase mode and been tilted. These games are now designed to do that. The quicker we lose the more likelihood we will put more money in. The designers of these games are very clever and they know what makes us tick.
1128th April 2019 at 10:24 pm #63181Yup, all me.
You didnt at all start a debate, then callously claim my input isnt valid by claiming im trying to ruin a debate, when someone has an opinion that differs from yours.
You want sympathy, then animosity, then anonymity, then disruption, then vengeance, then understanding. You confuse the shit out of me daily.
As for quitting, enjoy. I am educated thanks. I read the rules and abided by them. I added to a debate with personal and logical information. If that doesnt suit you then ok. Ill just be here, laughing internally at how people defend their views so wildly without acceptance of others. Shit i agreed with JB the other day. If i can, you can.
You also said “I gamble as well you muppet.”
Seedy said : There are a few industry insiders on the forum giving you upfront information no insulting them. @eejit101 is one of them. Things I don’t wanna see are people calling each other a cunt or any other form of abuse please .
I have nothing else to add.
28th April 2019 at 10:29 pm #63182I couldn’t agree more haz that is the best sum up of gambling I’ve ever read, if I could press like and thanks more than once I would.
1128th April 2019 at 10:33 pm #63184I made about 8 valid points and was debating the aspects of it. If you want to have a DEBATE, then you get both sides. Not just your opinion confirmed by people who see things your way.
Be easier to have a debate with a brick wall. This guy only wants to “debate” in a fucking echo chamber.
Let me explain this to you calmly rbreen.
This debate is about the bigger picture, not me. I have no ego involved here. I’m happy to see and discuss both sides and have been of that stance for a very long time. I have no time for people who do not want the debate. You’d think I would be puzzled that people are actively saying they don’t want this debate here. Eejit said “The point is why should there be a debate?” because Eejit doesn’t want this debate and when that was clear, I stopped wasting my energy on anything he or she has to say.
Take a chill pill (metaphorically) because I won’t be deliberately lowering myself to abusive levels nor will I be making personal attacks on anyone.
I will however sit and watch while the same people who keep breaking rules are given free reign while others are chastised. I’ve done this so many times over the years, it’s like water off a ducks back for me. I have no idea why you are so angry but I hope you can calm yourself down.

Thanks mate. It’s all about the fix and the fix is only achieved with playing time. Even these 10p a go £5 jackpots can take £60 to £80 nowadays. Alice in wonderland is one of them and these are in seaside arcades where kids can play them.

If calling you a muppet us a crime or against the “rules” to you then you have deeper issues. But still… sorry if I hurt your feelings.
That being said haz you have a point. Those games are not for entertainment to you. Bit they are to some. They are games for everyone now. Some people love smashing bonanza on for 1000 spins at 40p and either losing 80quid or winning 2k. Some people spin starburst all day who am I to judge. Weirdos :D.
As for mrB… my debate is why have a debate. Not that there shouldn’t be one. You need to read more carefully please. I list the reasons why my point is valid. I said “why do we even need a debate”. I’m debating the debate. Shit say debate enough times and it sounds weird. Debate.
As for the rest I’ll just not go there. I’m starting to learn not to defend any ground with you. You can twist anything. I work in gaming. But I play and deposit on the bandits casinos. So therefore I am one sided? My opinion in isnt as valid as yours? I’m paid for my companies? I hate half the casinos out there for their tactics. I shame them and roast them constantly over here. I respect not many people in this industry.. but those I do I will defend. Like casumo and VS. Like responsible gambling policies. And like AML. You dont see what it takes to make even half of a responsible gambling team happen. But you critisice and you demand justice for gambling addicts. If you gambled your life savings that’s on you. If you feel bad then learn and grow up. I’ve done it myself. I learnt and grew up. Eight was addicted to… God knows what he said… he grew up.
The help is there if you need it. But you have to want it. If you dont no amount of RG systems can save you. Same as any addiction.
28th April 2019 at 11:17 pm #63196I posted a bunch of stuff a while ago aimed at your opening points but it got sent for moderation and that made me very sad ?
28th April 2019 at 11:25 pm #63200As it seems to be lost in the ether I’ll be brief.
I’ve been a problem gambler. I got furious at casinos for their extended withdrawl times and have reversed and lost the lot more times than I can remember. However, I’ve always blamed myself. It’s my choice to do it, I don’t have to. I had a problem, God I wish gamstop had existed back when I had problems. Well over 100k blown on a far-flung dream haha..
Tbh that’s extremely conservative, I just don’t want to really add it all up as it will make me sad at the waste. It was all my fault, not the casinos, all me. People need to own their actions.
It’s hard to police problem gambling, if jenny drinks 5 pints and then glasses the barman should we all be limited to 4 pints? It’s difficult.
This is what I think should happen tho, casino’s should be forced to do kyc before taking a single penny from you and should be forced to remove reverse withdrawl options…
Most of all they should be banned from taking a deposit from a credit card as if you are using that to gamble you have serious problems.

I don’t think it’s just me. It’s the speed when the games are playing bad. I also look at my own earnings and i earn a reasonable living so for me if you can spend quicker than you earn to me that’s a problem. If you can lose £80 quid in a short space of time for some that’s a days work. 15 years ago i could spend 5 or 6 hours playing slots for no more than £100. Yes the potential big wins weren’t there but them days they were fun. These were £25 and £35 jackpots but you knew you’d get plenty of playing time. I’m not saying slots should be like that. Times have changed your money can potentially go ten times as fast taking the aspect of fun out the equation.
28th April 2019 at 11:56 pm #63208Eejit : If calling you a muppet us a crime or against the “rules” to you then you have deeper issues.
I could respond to this, but
Eejit : But still… sorry if I hurt your feelings.
Is not exactly drowning in sincerity.
29th April 2019 at 4:50 am #63216Honestly, what use are you to a problem gambler if you don’t give a shit about them ? No point you being in the debate.Ah I see your problem, you think I work for the Samaritans. Yep it’s a shame when a problem gambler committs suicide, but I don’t cry crocodile tears over them. People die of starvation all over the world, they die from warfare and disease etc etc, all problems outside of their control
So please don’t ask me to waste my time worrying about some guy who has decided to wallow in self pity and end it all, that was his personal choice, he decided not to man up and take responsibilities for his own actions and deal with his shit. The tired old “they’ll be sorry when I’m gone”
Newsflash to all those thinking of suicide due to gambling – “They” wont be sorry when you are gone, within a couple of months only your immediate family will even remember you even existed, they are the ones who suffer, the ones will will have to deal with the aftermath of your shit, and the ones I feel sorry for.
