But i swear to god as soon as i had over 2.5k to withdraw they fucking pounced on me for proof of age! Surely this is a Shady thing to do, and i bet its happened to thousands.
No, it’s the opposite of a shady practice, it’s the law. Any UK casino must verify your identity as soon as your total withdrawals hit £2k. A sign of a truly dodgy, corrupt, rigged casino is one which doesn’t do this, because it means they’re not regulated by the UKGC. Are you actually old enough to be gambling, is that why you’re so pissed about this sort of thing?
13th October 2018 at 8:52 pm #20931I know fook all about poker and pokerstars so i wont even go there. Good luck with that flu though pal. I know it can be a bitch to shift at times.
Thanks mate. Its being a bitch to shift 🙁
I hope just 1 Single person answers me though, But i’m guessing no one will. They just keep dodging the subject and saying nasty little phrases.
It’s kinda good though cos I’ve obviously hit a nerve 😉
Them saying nothing. I will take as a win 😉

Oh there’s that snidey little comment at the end again! You just can’t help yourself can you @argyl53 I’m 31yrs old
Ok I’l bite….
Listen you daft ape!
I deposited over 3-4k in that 6 months without age verification!
So why is it ok to deposit thousands without verification but not withdraw?
And don’t say its a loophole or sommat stupid like that. ITS BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL SHADY END OF STORY!
I could of easily deposited 7 or 8k without verification. They are ok to take my money though yeah?
Get a GRIP pal.
13th October 2018 at 9:12 pm #20933Like a bunch of old women. Casinos have always been dodgy, they always will be. But it’s so funny that people are getting so irate, In a 100 years who’s gonna give a fuck! Chill
13th October 2018 at 9:30 pm #20935I deposited over 3-4k in that 6 months without age verification!
No you didn’t. Your age in this case would have been verified automatically behind the scenes from your card details. But this doesn’t verify your ID i.e. that you are genuinely the cardholder. So when your withdrawals hit a certain level, all UK licensed casinos must freeze paying out until you send in proof of ID. Again, this is not their choice, it’s a legal requirement and they can be fined millions and shut down for not doing it.
Don’t believe me? Ask the Gambling Commission, don’t take my word for it.
You’re beyond help, mate.
13th October 2018 at 9:50 pm #20938@argyl53 – you’ve educated me there. I honestly didn’t know a casino operator could gain personal details from someones bank. E.g clarification of age.
This isn’t a hostile message, just something that I wasn’t aware of.
Cheers
14th October 2018 at 1:53 am #20943Yeah they can’t look up your age or address but they can automatically verify those details as you gave them match your card. I think they must do these checks within 3 days of your deposit and freeze your account if they couldn’t be verified.
114th October 2018 at 8:56 am #20945So let me get this straight you can spend thousands on a online casino without any checks that it’s really you using your own cards.
But the moment you win 2k and go for withdrawing they suddenly think, hang on a minute best check this is who he says it is. Just incase the person is a fraud.
That’s not very fair is it totally in the casinos favor, would be much better to verify before your first deposit don’t you think.??
I do think casinos could make the games a bit more fairer tho, £100 on 50p spins should at least give you a hour or twos entertainment on a slot. Not 5 minutes

Yes, though a standard AML check has been carried out, so the card number alone isn’t sufficient; you have to have given the right cardholder info such as name, address and DOB.

In my experience, it usually will though of course you can be unlucky and it depends what games you choose to play. Online casino slots are much fairer than land based slots, I’ve turned deposits of £10-20 in to over a grand several times.

I have news!!! The earth is indeed flat, the moon landings were faked, Elvis IS still alive & we have irrefutable evidence that casinos are “rigged”……. oh no, wait, no we don’t. I feel sorry for you man.
as for being an advertisement….. you realise how idiotic that is? Simple minds think simple thoughts ?. If I’m honest, I was reading the “Pokerstars are the devil” thread as my withdrawal/ verification was in process so I was shitting it a bit….. but, as per every other casino cashout, from every other site EVER…. I was paid out, swiftly and with no issue.

I NEVER use my Card details to deposit on Online Casino’s. I use Paysafe cards/numbers ETC
I ONLY use my card details when withdrawing, which ain’t that often 🙂
So that blows you’re come back out of the water doesn’t it @argyl53
Simply put they should verify me as soon as i become a member. As soon as i make my 1st deposit. But they don’t because they are shady. And are hoping/praying that down the line i get a big win and I’m not who i say i am or im under 18, so then they don’t have to pay me my winnings.
And don’t say they don’t have the time or resources to do this, cos that’s just a lame excuse for Non Transparent Shady Company’s. Trying to squeeze every penny out in any way they can.
And you say i need help?
Sure i need help with my grammar, but that’s it 😉
I will say this as plainly as i can……..
I DEPOSITED 3-4K OVER A 6 MONTH PERIOD USING PAYSAFE ETC – No Age verification asked for.
DOWN THE LINE I WON OVER 2K – Age Verification was then asked for.
I could have gone another 6 months depositing using non card deposits without Age verification.
This is just one example of how casino’s try to fuck you over.
C’mon mate,

We’ll put it this way mate; if you think an online casino didn’t successfully verify your age automatically or directly within 72 hours of opening your account, report it to the Gambling Commission because if it happened (it didn’t, but if you insist otherwise) that casino has broken the law and can be fined millions of pounds and their licence revoked. So go report it if you’re that sure, why wouldn’t you?

Last post on this thread but it’s a wall of text so skip it if you dont fancy a read. Bear with me.
If i make a claim to have a pet dog, there’s a good chance you’d believe me. I mean, people keep pets and alot of them are dogs, it’s not uncommon.
If i claim however to have a big fuck off fire breathing pet dragon in my garden shed, most people would say “bollocks mate, pull the other one”!
And rightly so.If i kept on and on about my pet dragon, in the end people would say “Right, prove it”.
And of course, i couldn’t.The Claim for most of this thread is that MOST online casinos are rigged in one way or the other.
My response is “PROVE IT”.
Not 4 or 5 or 50. But MOST online casinos.
An extraordinary claim requires extraordinary evidence. Not hunches, gut feelings etc…
Another example would be:
If there was a school exam with 1000 kids taking the exam and 4 or 5 were found cheating, would we believe that must mean most were cheating???
That would seem unjust.
If in 1 year, 3 years or 5 years time there’s a breaking news scandal where online casinos were found to be using virtually undetectable software to rig games, i will be the first to say ” WELL FUCK ME, @Just Basics WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!” and i’d eat humble pie for a long time.
Until that time though, it doesn’t seem right to condemn a whole industry based on afew bad egg casinos who have played foul of the rules.
Laters All and have a quality weekend! ?
14th October 2018 at 1:56 pm #20893In relation to Pokerstars table Texas Holdem (as in I’m not talking about slots or anything else), I can’t say I’m really a poker player but I did give up playing with them after many, many occasions where I had a really good hand that mathematically had a low probability of being beaten, yet what would happen a lot is another player would bet heavily against me and it would then turn out what I liked to call “the magic river” would suddenly give them a hand which beat me. Like, they would bet heavily after four cards where they had nothing and only one specific card would save them – and somehow that was the river card. I lost count of the number of times that happened to me.
I’m not claiming they’re rigged but I do know when I was playing there, losing heavy bets which i would have won had the river card been anything different happened more frequently than I would expect – particularly as I was often up against only one or two hands at the point it was drawn. I don’t know poker well enough to say these things don’t happen a lot on a server with enough tables and hands and players but I know probability and the best case scenario is I was fiendishly unlucky, repeatedly.
