Hi all,
Great forum.
I’m trying to sort my source of wealth out with Casumo and it’s taking days and days.
I had a good few wins recently and managed to withdrawal a good amount, only to be reversed until I send source of wealth.
Crap thing is I only provided this 2 months ago, and had some nice emails asking if I wanted to add deposit limits etc. The whole sow thing took about 2 hours so not an issue.
This time it’s taking close to a week and after speaking to live chat I get the response “we will look at your documents when we get the chance”
So why state on your website it takes up to 12 hours? Call me sceptical and i understand all the shite about regulations etc but it does seem like they drag it out, reverse the withdrawal so you carry on playing. I always lock my withdrawals for the simple reason i have won!
Can anyone let me know if there is anyone else I can speak too rather than the waste of time staff on chat? I love the casumo fames and layout etc but this is now a bit of a joke. I just want my money I’ve won so i can buy some new golf clubs 🙂

I had the exact same experience with them and they ended up closing my account without even letting me know.
118th February 2020 at 8:52 am #91294ive been hearing so many stories like this recently… that lock feature is amazing. but they shouldn’t reverse the balance back to if you locked it!! it should stay locked until documents are checked and verified :/ its like they want you to carry on and lose it all.. well that obvious lol

i had this problem sent them 2 wage slips and a bank statement it was sorted strait away if you go in live help asked for andy he will get it sorted for you mate
18th February 2020 at 2:15 pm #91310How much is the amount? If its over 2k and under 10k youll get some extra checks. Over 10k youll be properly checked out (rghtfully so).
That being said 5 days + is extreme. You killed anyone?

Various emails to and from with Casumo now
Asked for Andy and a Clarice from said they dont have an Andy working there.
19th February 2020 at 7:55 am #91381Last withdrawal was £3k and that was processed fine. Another £1k locked two weeks ago and then a week after it’s back into my casumo account and I need to verify.
I have no problem verifying anything but twice in 2 months? And then to be fed shit from Casumo that’s it’s a really lengthy process. Bollocks it took under an hour last time.

Surprisingly they put a 2k deposit limit on my account yesterday for no reason…
No idea when this will be sorted and when my £1k withdrawal will be approved.

22nd February 2020 at 7:03 pm #91591Probably a good thing. If people prove they have more disposable money than the £2k, then fair enough. For the people that don’t usually have £2k and over to dispose but have won big in a slot, stick to their limits and don’t give your winnings back to them.

I agree with that – give everyone a default 2k limit and let them prove it if their income realistically permits them to go further. But it’s outrageous that casinos will hold withdrawals hostage on “source of wealth” bollocks. No, if you think there’s a question mark over how a player is funding their account, stop them making a deposit in the first place until it’s resolved. When you’ve got a withdrawal or balance on the account, you should be well within your rights to go no I’m not sending you any documents and if you have a problem with that, send me my winnings and close my account.
23rd February 2020 at 5:27 pm #91617Strangely enough after chasing again yesterday Casumo have told me to reply to an email sent 14th Feb.
I didn’t read it to be honest, and it it asking me to verify my mortgage payments etc. I dont have any mortgage or rent!
It also says that no deposits will be able to be made until source of wealth has gone though.
Well over a week on and I have deposited at least 4 times since then, yet more bollocks from Casumo.
Once resolved and I have my 1k they owe me, I will be closing my account.

Unfortunately, they won’t. They have KYC obligations to make under UKGC regulations, which are only getting more strict.
The size of some of the fines that have been dished out so far have been substantial – they’ll all be looking to mitigate that.
