Probably a good thing. If people prove they have more disposable money than the £2k, then fair enough. For the people that don’t usually have £2k and over to dispose but have won big in a slot, stick to their limits and don’t give your winnings back to them.
CasumoAndy is on here, though I haven’t seen him around for a while.
I think it’s video slots Andy now ?
25th February 2020 at 11:13 am #91673Hi guys,
This is now become stupid.
Recieved an email below today from Casumo. So to cut a long story short, I live at home with my parents, that is because I work away most of the time (paid for by work) and I use my parents house as a base, once or twice a week.
Can a tone point me in the direct of some help because I am not going to convince my parents to supply mortgage information etc. This is beyond a joke.
Here’s the email
“Thank you for providing the recent documentation and information on your previous email.
In order for us to base our affordability calculation more accurately with the information you have provided regarding living with your parents and paying no bills we would need to see supporting documents of this.
This would need to be something such as proof that the utility bills for the address are not in your name. Perhaps a rental agreement for the address that shows you are not liable for any rent payments. If the house is owned by your parents then a mortgage agreement showing that you are not listed as a home owner would also be acceptable. If the mortgage is paid and has no outstanding balance then we would also need to see proof of this.
If we can get these documents from you and they do show that you are not liable for any bills including rent/mortgage payments then this could drastically change your affordability. “

….and then they closed your account because proof of address wasn’t in your name 😀
Casumo can sod off. There’s reasonable checks, then there’s taking it so far they’re just making it impossible in practice to play with them. Add to that their (last time I played there anyway) 18-24 hour time to approve even a small withdrawal and jokey, cartoon character customer service and I just don’t see why anyone would choose them when there are a dozen reputable casinos out there who won’t dick you around to eternity. Shame, they used to be really good but the evidence here lately is they’ve gone way downhill.
25th February 2020 at 2:02 pm #91691I completely understand they have to abide by rules etc but they just told me in chat that they need to be satisfied of my affordability of deposits.
I did question then why are they holding a withdrawal but still allowing me to deposit.
I am sure its not, by surely I’m going to question the credibility of Casumo, when they ask for source of wealth because they think I’m playing beyond my means but instead of blocking deposits they block withdrawals….
Jokers.
Anyway I’m still £1k down whilst waiting for my withdrawal but looks like I’ll never get that money because the lady in chat has said unless I prove my parents have no mortage and provide utility Bill’s in their name then I wont get it.

Nope. That’s not how it works; they cannot hold your legitimate winnings hostage like that. Tell them you’d like them to process your withdrawal and close your account. Then sign up with VideoSlots or LeoVegas.
26th February 2020 at 8:16 am #91694Hi,
I asked them that and they pointed me towards the t’s&c’s which I’ve signed.
They are saying that unless I provide the detail requested I will not get my money
26th February 2020 at 10:25 pm #91739Update
So I have been on casinomeister and the response has been amazing.
Casu.o are still adamant that unless they see proof that I have no rent or mortgage to pay (I live at parents two nights a week as a base and live in a hotel 5 via work) and provide them with proof my parents have paid their mortage off and utility Bill’s are in their name then I will not get my money.
Absolute jokers.
Knowing my old man, not only would I get a polite f off but also a smack in the face. Being close to 40 that still scares me ?
I’ve now gone via ADR
I will keep you all posted

way so much problem about bill proof, just google it and you find lot of web pages to make bills proof of address bank statement :p
27th February 2020 at 9:23 am #91753Haha very true.
I am not forging or misleading anyone though. I haven’t throughout this whole process with Casumo. I have now self excluded myself from Casumo as in their terms and conditions it states that once self excluded then any balances / bets will be returned. They only state they will withhold withdrawals or if they suspect AML.
They have all my stuff and it clearly shows no AML. Only income I have is my salary and my winnings from Casumo and Betfair.
The fact I deposited over 2k in Feb more due to the fact I wont 4k from betfair off 200 quid. They havent questioned my holiday I booked with the winnings or the golf clubs I bought.
Jokers
27th February 2020 at 10:36 am #91754Hi I’m having same issue with casumo.

27th February 2020 at 11:33 am #91756Can’t understand why people continue playing at casumo,as long as it’s got a ukgc liscence they are all pretty much the same in terms of what games you choose to play.i made a comment on another thread the other day about the absurdity of casinos letting players deposit without asking for source of wealth but cometh the day of withdrawal its bend over sir we are going to probe into every orifice you have.according to the ukgc website they are guidelines, there are no hard and fast anti money laundering laws, online casinos have used these various new ukgc so called regulations to their advantage against the average joe player.yes certain people come on here suggesting casinos are holier than thou and regulations are put in place to protect the player but the truth is its complete and utter bullshit.gambling be it live or online has always been a dirty business and will continue so until the end of time.they base themselves in Malta because of the corrupt goverment as the young journalist found out when she was murdered their.she was just about to expose him and his corrupt links to the casino industry.will I continue to play online?absolutely it’s something I enjoy, but wake up and accept it for what it is.most of the time you will be payed out but every so often they will fuck you up the wrong un and there’s pretty much fuck all you can do about it.on another note, the age old subject of can they manipulate when you win, personally I think they can.i haven’t got the foggiest idea how they do it but they do.obviously that’s my own opinion and the various slot defenders are always lurking in the shadows ready to trawl out the usual spiel about its impossible, they are regulated, they won’t risk losing their liscence heavy fines blah blah blah, make up your own minds don’t let people try and sway your opinion,if something don’t feel right it usually isn’t.well I’m exhausted after writing all that.going to load up bonanza and try and hit that elusive huge win.over and out.x
128th February 2020 at 8:30 pm #91788I’ve opened a PAB with casinomeister.
Casumo have never screwed me over before, I’ve played there for years. It’s the only site I ever seemed to win on as well, that’s just luck I know.
I had a nice cash out on betfair last month though so might just play there now.
I self excluded now on casumo with a balance of £1000.09 , so will see what happens to that balance once the PAB is done.
I actually dont think I’ll get those winnings, and luckily for me it was winnings and not recovering a loss. If the PAB fails then I’ll go ADR and if that fails then I have no idea what to do. I may ask them to reinstate my account. Wait until they leave the UK (which they will soon enough) and then theyll have to give me money back (I hope).
29th February 2020 at 10:33 pm #91811Umm, thats a weird interpretation of SOW checks. You dont need to provide that much detail if you live somewhere for free. You also would be presenting someone elses information so im not sure how that works.
Give me your username ill send a message to someone i know who works there.
1st March 2020 at 11:23 am #91817It’s not unusual if you read lots of other forums.
I have opened a PAB with casinomeister so need to see that through first.
I’ve closed and excluded my account now with casumo so will see if they give me my £1000.09!
