Not getting into it with rosh, he was just an example.
Why won’t you get into it with rosh. Just a. Quick opinion of him?
5th January 2020 at 7:25 pm #87533Stakes have gone bigger . That’s because he has more money so he can afford , and people like watching big stakes. And I know what u gonna say addicts blah blah . And fuck knows what he said to upset u .
I’m not upset. And it’s more the concept of streamers. And how they pursue sign ups. And this has escalated over the last couple of days through smartarses and lap dogs barking at any critism. I’m well entitled to my opinion and feel I’ve made valid points I know a lot in the community agree with.
Yes all three
All three what?
Well shit you can work that out genius
Your boring now you. Just a troll looking to be the funny one.
No no, I’m boring and clever and funny ….
And there is an “ e” in “ you’re “ ….. don’t worry YOU’RE getting closer now champ ……and ps your trolling levels have dropped if the boring ones the troll

Because as soon as you get into it, arguments and speculation start to happen. I personally find him funny, but I’ve got a very strange sense of humour. Theres a thread about rosh already if you want to go there ?

I’ll watch this tmoz not got time now. First few min highlight how it’s preyed upon by casinos. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying streamers are the main evil of course it’s the casinos but its all one vicious circle and everyone including the gamblers gave to take responsibility.

I just wondered if you agree with him or not as I suspect a few who argue streamers corner don’t argue his. He’s not my cup of tea personally but I don’t see the difference between him or any other streamer.
5th January 2020 at 8:02 pm #87542Not often i say this – but I see and agree with many of your points here arlonewts. Some streamers are pushing heavily for profit, some streamers are using fake funds and unreasonable promotions to give a one sided view of gambling. Some streamers promote dodgy sites. Some streamers dont look at the responsible gambling site of it. Some youtube content pushes heavily to twitch or external sites full of links and promotions (Look at Craig/Jimbo’s site). Some streamers go after each other to promote vindictiveness and spite (Look at what nickslots said about Reelraiders for example).
The industry as a whole is cast as “seedy” due to the long standing morals behind gambling. Outlawed for ages in most countries, confined to age groups (rightfully) and cast as sinful by religion. The actuality is everything is sinful. Casinos exist as players find it fun. Even addicted players find it fun. The problem is the cant stop.
So the moral and only question is – Is the fact people cant control themselves the fault of casinos offering this service, the people themselves, or society as a whole. In my opinion, obviously biased a bit as I work for a casino group, and have streamed, its all 3. Casinos needs to be forced by regulation to not allow internal funds or special bonuses. Twitch needs to push 18+ content heavier. People need to do more. BUT – people will always find ways of making money. Same as guys who sell fake drugs, fake sweets, same as industry on a whole that looks for traffic – its just a thing. We need to deal with it and regulate it. Global regulation is the only thing that will help now.

Yeah well put. I’m just not very good at explaining things but this is how I’m trying to make my point
6th January 2020 at 5:09 am #87576If they have that addiction in their body, something will trigger it at some point and you can’t be sure what. I dont blame my mum and dad for my addiction just because they brought me up in a seaside town full of arcades for a 14 years. The arcades were just a small part of it. People signing up with affiliation links know what it means, and if they dont after all this shit, they shouldn’t even be online. Each youtube video you go on, whether it be a vlogger, kids channel, gambler, fisherman, gamer will all have an affiliate link for something or another. Cant blame them for people having an addiction to shopping or addiction to spending can you.
Really amazing how many addicts originally come from the seaside towns. This forum has really opened my eyes to that.
6th January 2020 at 7:04 am #87577I’ve always been from sheffield, but my parents bought a caravan down there that we ended up living in for most of the year for a good 15 years. Neither my brother or sister were affected by it, well.. my brother wasn’t. I haven’t seen/spoken to my sister for 5 years, so it could have changed for her. I also have 2 cousins in skegness, both who were in the arcades 24/7 until being 18/19, and they don’t even have a scratch card these days.
If we go on holiday in the UK, I still take my daughter into arcades. Not having her miss out just because pretty bright lights draw me in ?
