    Trouble makers.

I can be as gutter mouthed as anyone else, but that’s not my style, I don’t bait ppl in threads… I have no interest in it, I move on and read the ones I am interested in.

I don’t throw insults at people for their point of view, I bring facts from online data when asked to provide evidence of my comments.

Meanwhile inspite of all this…….my topic is irrelevant, im a fucking moron, im the new jb etc etc.

If its a slagging match till the end then by all means lets start. im not afraid to stand up for myself.

Yes but they weren’t facts of what form of gambling kids were doing. Only malkychamp provided proper evidence of that you didn’t.

What do you think they were doing Haz ? putting side bets on my little pony to fall at the first ?

please buddy, don’t….Theres limited things you can gamble on. Don’t be so naïve, I told you the facts are these kids gamble on : Roulette, blackjack, baccarat, Casino games, slots and sports betting…… yes some 30odd% gamble the boxes you described earlier…..Were these available to you as a kid ? The answer is no….So relating to ‘is it moral’ to introduce these things to young kids…..we didn’t have an option to gamble ANYTHING when we played sega, nintendo etc etc.

No i spent days out at the seaside playing slots. Going in the arcades at 13 and that didn’t do me or anyone else any favours in the long run.

I don’t know much about the vpn thing (regardless of what some might think)

But if the i.p can be hidden and a fake account created, god knows how many more have the ‘chance’ to gamble online.

Its 1% according to malkychamps findings on your thread. If it’s 6% in total I’m assuming the 5% difference is lottery based games.

    Online participation

    • 5% of 11-16 year olds have spent their own money on online gambling in the past 12 months, but only 1% have done so in the past week • 6% have gambled online using a parent or guardian’s account • 13% have ever played gambling-style games online • 31% have ever opened loot boxes in a computer game or app, to try to acquire in-game items, while 3% claim to have ever bet with in-game items (so called ‘skins’ gambling)

I have already posted this information in the thread.  shows nobody even took the time to read.

It doesn’t work like that new laws introduced in may makes you complete verification before depositing. Passport driving licence etc.

These are not facts though you have made that part up. I provided you with a graph from your own source no less as to what these kids were ‘gambling’ on. Which you chose to ignore as it didn’t fit your argument. As a guy in my 30’s gambling in arcades was definitely around was i was a kid you could also gamble with friends. Perhaps not on console but the likes of poggs/pokemon even conkers  you could play against each other for a stake of whatever choosing this is not a new thing

And that’s the point. Even if an 11 to 16 year old wanted to open an account now they couldn’t. Some sites require a photo holding your passport. The authorities have made it impossible for underage gambling online.

You were never here for the intellectual debate.

6% of how many 11-16 year olds?

Argyll will know better about the laws but as far as I’m aware it would be near on impossible for a minor to open an account online at say 32red.

Also just to point out the ‘study’ was done on 2,865 people so the 450,000 is just a number plucked from nowhere
