was watching Craigslist tonight and jeez did him and his chat mode throw an issy fit over something I mentioned.
firstly some context, he was doing the £100 bonus buys on chilli and literally pissing his money away, he did at the beginning of the tilt get 24 spins which paid £60 ouch.
so anyways about 1k later he got 8 spins and won £230… to which he said that’s a good win.
so I pointed out surely that bad gambling ethnics if you think a 2.3x won is good.
All mods and stuff were like it’s a £2 stake stop being a troll boa boa boa… where as I was thinking, yes the stake is £2 but that’s spinning, you bought a bonus making your stake £100 (the £2 it shows you ok screen is just a casino smokescreen to play to their advantage)… so he staked £100 and won £130 meajing it was a 2.3x win… anyways ended up going south.
my question to youze though is… is watching something like that promoting a bad side of gambling, I question it myself because I don’t know.. but I certainly think it’s a it’s the wrong way to think. How does everyone think of their wins… how much they won off a press, or how much they’ve won in a session.
It’s an interesting subject and when you think into it deeply and you flip it to how they Casinos want you to think… they defo wanna keep you thinking per press.. because that what hooks you.
