The comments been removed now, but he said he’d take 500 for putting him in touch with someone who would buy it, to pay for his energy bills ?
23rd June 2019 at 11:18 am #7133523rd June 2019 at 11:21 am #71336He’s taken his post down now, but he said he had friends who would buy the guys Yamaha but he would take £500 commission to pay his own bills “everyone’s a winner” he said!
Omg, This benq character is a disgrace. He lies on many threads, first he only gambles £20 a month…..then its £40 because his wife ‘gave him £20’…then its…’if I win the prizedraws give it to charity’.
meanwhile trying to con a man that’s at rock bottom. aweful.
223rd June 2019 at 11:34 am #71347Because it’s shameful, taking advantage of someone who is vulnerable. The guy with the ring was a business deal, he wasn’t on his arse broke with no other choice, he wanted to make a deal not desperate for money for food to live on. Using that desperation to get yourself £500 is shocking.
You say it used to be a good place for banter but all you have done is prove tgc’s point in yesterday’s argument. Problem gamblers get support there, here they are abused and taken advantage of by people like you. I’m afraid the problem is not those of us willing to give advice and enjoy the forum but those much like yourself out to seek personal gain from it.
23rd June 2019 at 11:36 am #7134823rd June 2019 at 11:39 am #71350As winningbird said gamstop isn’t that much hassle, a lot less hassle than begging relatives or selling stuff if it’s got that bad. Defo get yourself back registered.
As for benq taking 500 for putting you in touch with someone who will buy it is shady as fuck. Praying on someone in a vulnerable position for your own personal gain is disgusting. Should be ashamed of yourself.
Hope you get it all sorted and get on gamstop
It’s a hassle mate when your term expires with gamstop and if you deactivate the account and then attempt to resign back up at a late date. it’s a very complicated process. My advice to anyone on gamstop is to extend the length of the self exclusion period before the current one expires. That’s obviously if you feel you still can’t control your gambling of course.
23rd June 2019 at 11:46 am #71353I understand it’s ‘hassle’ in the broad term of the word but compared to selling your stuff, begging relatives for money, not being able to afford to live, I wouldn’t say it’s more hassle than that.
Not kicking off, just stating someone trying to get £500 from a person who has mentioned considering suicide in their original post is pretty dodgy stuff. Surely we aren’t all just going to ignore that and act as if it’s okay?

Agreed but still my advice is still not to come off gamstop in the first place. If only one person reads that who’s coming towards the end of gamstop and think again then it’s worth while saying.
As regards to the mention of suicide by the op he needs some support. Either family friends counselling. I truly hope he gets the help he needs.
23rd June 2019 at 11:54 am #71361Is this the same guy who lost it over someone saying he begged for money for his teeth when he didn’t?
23rd June 2019 at 11:55 am #71363Ok guys dont kick off in here today.. taa my head hurts…?♂️?♂️

23rd June 2019 at 11:55 am #71364So all that’s been achieved is we have proved tgc’s point from yesterday about our forum. That will do for me then. Peace out
23rd June 2019 at 11:59 am #71370Sorry seedy, just seen your post, delete my comment if its gonna incite anything.

You certainly can’t say that about me. I’ve spent 6 months on here helping advising donating and even ringing members in need. I’m always one of the first to reply and never asked for anything in return.
23rd June 2019 at 12:05 pm #71379Don’t leave just because someone said something that isn’t true benq. Someone called me a miserable C word on twitch the other day just because I put a thumbs up emote after being thanked for following. It made me want to put my fist through their eye socket but you just have to rise above it and breath. Don’t let people push you out of a forum you’ve been a member of for a while. 🙂
