I don’t know the exact law changes regarding Dutch players on online casino’s that have been made recently, but I’m being excluded from playing practically everywhere. There goes my fully verified Betvictor account. (balance was €0.- so nothing was lost.)
Guts also doesn’t accept the Dutch payment method(s) for some time anymore.

Are there more people that notice/experience this? Are there any good alternatives?

    Freedom of internet, right…

Payment methods can be changed though, use Skrill or Neteller for example. They should be available in the Netherlands.

Not sure why they close your account but online gambling is kind of a grey zone in the Netherlands afaik, bookies and casino’s might not want to take a chance on getting a fine or whatever.

Over here in Belgium we have our own gambling laws and commission making it impossible to play on the big name casino’s like Videoslots or Casumo. There’s 9 licenses out there for online casino’s which are all in use, all being tied to brick & mortar casino’s. The law even says that as a user you could get fined if they catch you playing on any unlicensed casino…

It’s not only the deposit methods tho. Betvictor denied my account because of my nationality.

The Netherlands has laws on national gambling, I knew that. But it seems they’re getting their control over online casino’s too now, which in my opinion is an individual’s choice. If I buy something abroad, it’s allowed. How about buying some good slot times?

I don’t get it and for now I’m playing slots on Pokerstars, which offers Trustly.
