Now I consider myself to be a little hard nosed Glaswegian who isn’t afraid of anything or anyone, instead of taking me to the football my Dad would take me hunting and fishing every weekend. Ive walked through misty Graveyards on my own without giving a second thought.
It was 1998 and I was working at an Autistic residential school in Dorset, part of my duties included working the occasional sleepover, this involved sleeping in a designated room which I would be woken up if the night staff needed assistance if one of the boys was restless. The room itself was around 10x10ft with a single bed. One night I went to bed at around 11pm, the room was fucking freezing cold so I decided to keep my jumper on whilst under the covers. Within 5 minutes I started to hear whispering and giggling which got louder by the minute, I was soon aware that the noises were coming from inside the room.. Well I leapt out the bed and flicked on the light switch… nothing. Convincing myself that it was just my imagination I turned the light off and went back to bed, within minutes it started again but was louder, I could make out that it sounded like 2 young boys but couldn’t make out what they were saying..Well I fucking shit myself big time, literally jumping into my trousers I bolted out the room. Later that evening I told one of the night staff of what I had experienced and needless to say she told every fucker she met what I had said. I was the laughing stock by the next morning.
A couple of days later the school caretaker approached me and asked what I had experienced, after explaining to him he told me that he had actually seen apparitions in that section of the school. This man was in his early 70s and had been the caretaker since it was a boys school many years before. He told me that apparitions would travel right through the walls and often travel up and down the corridors.
Turns out that a couple of the boys were playing at the local beach during the 1950s, they discovered a sea mine which they started to play with which ended up exploding and killing the both of them. Their bedrooms in the school is where the apparitions have been seen.
True story folks. Might not be to everyone’s taste but it’s a change of topic for the forum.
Please post if you have any stories of your own.2nd February 2019 at 4:52 pm #45743I was in an accident last year in which I flipped a campervan on its side and smashed into parked cars and I remember clear as day while sliding along with all the glass and the blood and shit everywhere I could see a man stood on the pavement watching, he was all in black and I couldn’t make out his face, it was weird as the van was sliding straight at him quite fast and he didn’t even flinch or move just stared at me. when it came to a halt and I was trapped he was still watching as I screamed for help but he never moved.
later on I was shown cctv in court from 2 different angles and the man was not there on either video.. Im 100% of what I saw, my mates reckon it was the grim reaper lol I think he was an angel as I made a recovery that shocked the doctors so i think he saved me. not so much a ghost but something paranormal for sure
12nd February 2019 at 5:05 pm #45745When I was about 14 myself and a group of friends did a few ouija boards. Scared the fookin life out of me. Once the board was asked the name of the girl I liked. I lived in a village and all my friends in the village went to a different school and had not met or did not know any of my school friends. As I stood back not in control of the piece I watched in amazement as the piece moved from letter to letter spelling out the surname of the girl mispelling only 1 letter. Plus not the most common surname corrigan. The letters spelt corrikan. I was away from the board at the time and not in control of it in any shape or form. I swear I know 100% my friends did not know this girl and I hadn’t even told a single person I liked her. The board was 100 years old which we burnt in the end. No exaggeration the flames went as high as a house.
