Just logged into casumo as I thought I left £20 in but must of used it there was only 22p left it came up last played lightning roulette so for a laugh chucked 20p on 20 and it came in ??? when does that ever happen. But it paid £6 thought the return would be £7.20 or are the odds different for lightning roulette

They balance the big odds by making non lightning number 30/1. It’s actually good for both sides I guess, I’m sure the casino will have worked out the cost benefits to them, but to the player there is nothing like hitting 400/1 on a roulette number in exchange for that lower % on the other numbers. Saw a guy on Jimbo’s win 13k the other day hitting a 300/1 and I also also saw the lightning number come in 5 out of 8 spins, only on 50/1 though.
Only thing to be aware of is that the lightning number doesn’t count for splits.

This is why they make so much money, I can’t find the house edge for lightning roulette, maybe Phil knows? My thoughts are that the house edge is higher than standard roulette as I don’t believe losing 5-1 will be made up in the long run with the multipliers. At a guess I would say the house edge on lighting roulette is 5-6%. Again if someone knows please tell me.
