Casumo are legally demanded to do this btw. This is a requirement, not a choice, as per UKGC and Financial services regulations.
Its not just “placing a bet”, its the fact your using funds to place the bet, and those will be checked.
15th November 2019 at 7:18 pm #83351I played one off the new games u recommended , it was a book one . And got 5 scatters payed 1000x . Thankyou ?
15th November 2019 at 7:33 pm #83353So they didn’t pay out because you’ve almost definitely done something criminal with your “legitimate business.” It’s alright, my pal got a few years jail… he was a legitimate business man” too
good brag though. ?
16th November 2019 at 8:46 am #83366You know what ….. don’t you feel like there are few chapters missing from this story ?
16th November 2019 at 9:58 am #83369I’m not a big gambler so may be naive here. What did this chaps father do wrong exactly? He placed big bets on some form of gambling at Casumo which the casino accepted knowing there was a chance he could win. They did not question his source of funds while he was losing right?
When he does win, the casino in question wants to question his source of wealth, contact banks, and other criminal authorities to muddy the waters and avoid paying out by whatever means necassary. Aswell as putting his family through hell by freezing all associated family members’ bank accounts.
If i walk into a bookies and put 5k on a horse to win and they accept the bet, surely that’s it. Transaction completed. Contract in force.
Why doesn’t it appear the same with online casinos?

casinos have been doing source of wealth quite a lot …. bandit has quite a public spat with a casino about it and the hurdles their asking him to jump …it’s A theme they want the gambling casinos to engage with “ know where the Money you collect is coming from “ so it protects the poor and exposes the criminals …. and placing 7 grand bets is going to highlight you more than Blackpool tower, equally I do a couple of hundred a month and one of my casino asked me for docs after a big win and the other on my opening the account ….so I think it’s slightly random Who and when they ask ……why doesn’t it filtter into bookies? It does but it’s more down to the operator to judge if the cash supplied is trust worthy/ or if somebody is over spending and legally they have to report suspicions and the police act on it …they do seem to be stricter on line but I suppose the ability to do more damage is greater on online @eejit the man in the know tho , but I’d argue they have obviously found something with this mans case …….. because the story just isn’t adding up to me ………I’m not say it don’t happen, but for a case they have no proof on , they are hung, drawn and quartering this bloke …….( did think it was fake because if his profile name ) no offence to the bloke it’s just the way the story comes across to me ……..
16th November 2019 at 11:00 am #83371Have to agree here,I have never been asked for source of wealth.i don’t play in the same league as bandit but my total losses have just broken through the 40k barrier which is a shit lot of money to spunk away, but I accept its the nature of the beast playing online slots.i have never been asked to verify my account with any online casino or bookmaker before I have deposited either.the way I see it is these so called regulations are there so casinos don’t get a fine by ukgc apart from that they are dirty fuckers that use obvious tactics to delay paying out.the only positive thing the ukgc done was lowering fobt roulette stakes.loved watching the high street bookies squealing like little bitches when their cash cow ended.the fact that they then bleated about all the shops having to close down and jobs lost was a absolute joke.what I want to know is where does this source of wealth information end up,are casinos legally obligated to hand it over to the uk goverment?im sure someone here can answer this one.

The smart move is to just make sure you verify before you ever deposit. I know it’s not fool-proof and probably not exactly practical if you really want a session at a new casino, but I reckon it’s saved me a hell of a lot of hassle with withdrawals.
I’ve had hassle once, about 3 years ago with a withdrawal with William Hill, on an account that was easily 80-100k down – they told me that my bank was refusing the credit… obviously they weren’t – but I just kept withdrawing and it went through. Closed the account after the withdrawal. Never had a single issue with another casino or bookmaker other than that.
