One whole year without an online bet, apart from the time i got pissed and managed to deposit 40 quid on a site 6 month ago but could not withdraw due to being on gamstop ? silly mistake but I’ve not had a bet sinse. Thinking of taking it easy and sticking a 50 quid limit a week on whatever site i join up to

looking for recommendations of a site with bonus buys, as i never had the opportunity to have a go at them yet. Thanks??

Only do this if you think you’re capable of sticking to your limits. There are loads of sites out there that would happily take your money now you’re away from gamstop.

As for a site, I would stick with the reputable ones such as casumo, video slots (even though they’re being an arse with players) unibet, or leo.

Good luck with your buys, and please stick to your limits 🙂

Have to agree with the voices above … well done for completing the course … … the only good way of getting back into casinos is if you dealt with the reason why you went on “gam blockers” in the first place … if you did “ deal” with stuff and feel strong then great, but if you just sat there counting down the days and not really dealing with issues you had then be epically careful…..stick a limit on it straight away …. time restrictions everything they offer, monthly deposits ….honestly people will always be wary of suggesting casinos to people coming off gamstop, because tripping is so easy to do… you’ve obviously done well with the hard work staying away, so do your self a solid and extend your exclusion…..I mean no offence but what I’ve written, I don’t know you, but we read many bad stories on these sites it’s good to have yours as a positive one …..just make the right decision you know is best for you

Whatever you decide to do I would recommend staying away from bonus buys if you plan on playing £50 a week then you’ll blow through that in about 5 minutes with bonus buys and most of the time you end up with a massive loss from these and with not really having had a proper session you’ll only tempt yourself more to deposit again or find somewhere else if you have limits in place.

Better to do smaller spins and get a few bonuses that way even if they are rubbish you’ll find it easier walking away after a session or at least I do if I put £50 in and have a few bonuses it’s so much easier for me to walk than if I lost 5 bonus buys in a row.

Maybe it’s just me but whatever you do make sure you put limits on your accounts.

This. £50 is still a bit of cash, on 20p you’ll be unlucky as fuck not to see a bonus but chilli or vikings will take that without thinking on buys. A few hours of slotting is fun even if you lose your money, 5 mins is painful as fuck

I’d strongly recommend sticking to the reputable casinos and setting limits you can afford and will stick to like everyones said, and self exclude again if you feel it slipping.. Good luck though dude

I personally would reenlist to Gamstop. Theres a reason you joined in the first place and I doubt its changed.

I would exclude again.  I’ve been excluded since 4th July and I think it’s really helping.  The temptation would be to put in £50, watch that disappear, then you will be thinking “Well I haven’t lost any money for x months, so lets just put another £50 in”.. and you know how the rest of that story goes.

Thanks for all the replies, i have made my mind up in returning to the slots but obviously on a much lower scale money wise. I had racked up 20K debt with payday loans and i had to stop the gambling in order to pay it all off, which i have and im living comfortably. I’ve went with dreamvegas and will stick with that one, i understand 50 quid isn’t a lot for bonus buys so i may just stick to 50p a spin on the slots, maybe a pound. I have addressed all of my issues i had in the past and sorted everything out.

I have made an account and i have money in the bank, but i am not depositing just yet. Is this 100% match bonus worth taking or not? I i know the wagering requirements are ridiculous so not even sure I’d hit them with just 50 quid. Limits are in place already too.

You also know that most casinos don’t allow bonus buys with bonus cash, right?

Just be careful, set limits, and if you feel the slightest bit of wanting to gamble more, then give your self a time out. Take it from someone who was on gamstop and thought they were back in control 10 months after.
