Hi all

So I thought I’d set up another chat to be used to announce the winners of the monthly league competition. I will continue to email it out however I’ll use this so you can look at back throughout the season.

Prizes for the monthly league is as follows

Winner £75

2nd £50

3rd £25

August Monthly League

1st – Jolyon Walker – 258 Points £75

Tied 2nd – Leif Rose – 253 Points £37.50

Tied 2nd – Richard Offord – 253 Points £37.50

As Leif and Richard are tied they share the £50 2nd prize and £25 3rd prize so it’s £37.50 each.

1st Luke Whittaker – 314pts £75

2nd Melanie Cheung – 294pts £50

3rd Gary Black – 289pts £25

 

Congrats to the 3 winners but especially to Luke for taking top spot quite comfortably but unsurprisingly with his weekend score of 96 points and a very well used wild card!

October Monthly League

1st Andy Leggatt – 237pts £75

Tied 2nd Allan Cunningham – 234pts £37.50

Tied 2nd David Low – 234pts £37.50

 

Just like in August there is a tie for 2nd place therefore the £50 prize for 2nd place and the £25 prize for 3rd place is split evenly.

 

Congrats to the 3 winners but especially to Andy for taking top spot off my Dad! I would’ve never heard the end of it had he won so his 2nd place may only last a few months!

November’s League starts this weekend and don’t forget this month is doubly important with the Champs League/Europa League qualification at stake so best we all try this month eh hahahahaha

1st – Peter Jennings – 432pts £75.00

2nd – Niall Rennie – 431pts £50.00

3rd – Christopher Marshall – 429pts £25

 

Congratulations to Peter who has narrowly won December’s mini league competition with a total of 432 points just ahead of Niall and Chris. Commiserations to 4th placed Matthew Robertson but I’m sure he can take positive viewing at being at the top of the overall league for the first time this season!

Good afternoon all

With the bonus midweek round of fixtures completed that brings us to end of the January monthly league and your winners for the month are

1st Dan Todd – 288pts £75

2nd Ben Mackenzie – 285pts £50

3rd Rick Ambler – 284pts £25

Congratulations to you 3 and especially Dan for his 62 point midweek haul which propelled him into 1st place by only 3 points from Ben with Rick just 1 point further back. Rick went into the midweek fixture with a 15 point gap at the top and probably odds on to scoop top prize but a less than average score for the round dropped him down a few places by the narrowest of margins but I hope you are still happy with your 3rd place finish and £25 prize!

February monthly league commences from this weekend (Gameweek 25 – Gameweek 28) so everyone starts back at zero and ready to go again!

February Monthly League

1st Matthew Wait – 337pts £75

2nd Stephen Montague – 333pts £50

3rd Lee Palfreyman – 326pts £25

 

In a high scoring month mainly due to Sergio Aguero and any of you who have Liverpool defenders especially last night! Matthew maintained his lead at the top with Stephen and Lee improving in the last Gameweek to seal the other cash spots.

 

March’s Mini League starts this weekend so we are all back to zero so it’s all to play for again J

Yeah I try to keep things as interesting as I can so monthly leagues, a few cups, highest score comp etc still hard to keep 708 people happy but I try my best!

Hope most folk are enjoying it and next season can be even bigger!
