Hi Readers. Do people still play the fobts in the bookies? The slots are boring, no fun and are losing more often than before covid. People are losing, (except Stop and step), who somehow is probably in profit on these slots through the last few years lol. Are you guys losing more and getting less feature bonuses than before?
Now on to online slots, no limit jackpots, choice of plenty of different slots old and new, and they are producing them on a weekly basis. All they are, same slot but different names, BGT slot are so similar. No autoplay, no bonus buys its boring. I have been gambling for well over 25 years. Not been in a bookie in over 2 years, and not played online slots in 2 years.
The likes of Bandit (Where are you man?), Rolla and a few others have kept me from spending my own money. through their realistic playing, the wins don’t come as often as the losses. This is the reality of gambling.
To cap this off. Has anyone else stopped gambling in the last few years? I would like to think and know that there are a few more of you out there.
I look forward to reading your replies.
2nd June 2022 at 9:29 pm #113258I still do some of the service station slots, it’s a nice break from all the driving I do for work, I was always a fan of the pier casinos, and they kind of remind me of them ( if you squint very hard )
4th June 2022 at 7:56 am #1132694th June 2022 at 10:08 am #113272Yeah, those service station ones I believe have a lower percentage payout. But if you’re gambling for fun and not through addiction. Well and why not!!
4th June 2022 at 10:15 am #113273Crypto is as volatile as BTG slots lol.. But, your money lasts longer, they say that 76% of people who invest in these types of investments lose more than their original stake. I use the word stake as it is another form of gambling. I’ve held shares for over 5 years and in the red. But, it’s only a loss if you sell. Hopefully, I look at the prices in another 5 years and see a profit.
Good luck with crypto, I read that $30000 on bitcoin is a good entry point. Not sure what the price is now. But hope it works out well for you.
4th June 2022 at 8:18 pm #113280I quit online on 1st January – not a new years resolution, I just wasn’t prepared to send a screenshot of me bent over spanking myself with a copy of the sun to prove my 20p spins were not money laundering.
I then quit fobt on 1st May. Whilst I don’t much like the idea of conspiracy theories, it feels like they have played substantially differently this year and from April got so bad I lost all enjoyment.
I used to see the slots as some entertainment that was going to cost me money, much like a night out, but for the last few months bonuses have been tougher to get hold of than the Bandits videos, so I don’t blame him for staying away from them!
15th June 2022 at 4:26 pm #113295Well done Callan!
After thinking back from the last few years, the gambling commission have done an amazing job on deterring gamblers from signing up and actually playing. Apparently you have to send bank statements to prove you can afford it.. fuck that! I earn my money and I’m not proving shit. 2.5 seconds a spin… Boring! No buy feature options.. boring.. no autoplay.. boring. Bookie slots are £2 max spin on roulette.. boring. I wish they done this 10 years ago, I’d be a damned richer man. No, give the gambling commission their dues. They’ve made the whole gambling experience boring as fuck. I hope the casino’s do the same thing. Absolutely cripple the industry.
8th June 2022 at 12:29 am #113343I personally wouldn’t mind all the checks and rules if I thought they were there solely to help those who cannot control themselves but we’ve all heard too many stories of people getting a win and all of a sudden needing to explain transactions from 5 years ago.
Yet we can walk into a bookies and blow a couple of grand with no oversight.
It has all got so boring now, I actually think the new rules force people to gamble for much longer, making the behaviour more entrenched.
I used to enjoy having a little go of the slots on train journeys, but I know now 45 minutes isn’t enough time to get a bonus.
Think how rich we would all be if we had never started! Although, I would say, until this year I’ve classes my gambling as value for money. That’s now all changed!

Online casino is the best you can think of. I hate these stuffy halls.
18th November 2022 at 8:36 am #115526Recently, I also stopped visiting gaming halls. I wouldn’t say I like this atmosphere. Online casino is the best you can imagine. I wouldn’t say I like these stuffy rooms.

Gambling is good for those who like competition and a gambling spirit. Everyone spends their time the way they like. I like gambling more, where you can compete and have tournaments.

All the BS UKGC regulations and gamestop gameblock now lost value, anyone can just go to Crypto casino and lose a lot of money even those under 18, UKGC killed the fun of gambling, every week one casino will pull out of the UK market, high tax high licenses fee risk of getting hit by UKGC fine
