1st September 2019 at 1:23 pm #79118Hey there, we all make mistakes.. done it before myself.. think best bet would be to self exclude yourself. Maybe try get to speak to someone about it.. Hope all works out well for you.
11st September 2019 at 1:25 pm #79119Ps. I’m sure the bandit can advise you on how to go about it.. Think theres a link to some gambling site blocker.
11st September 2019 at 1:32 pm #79120Just be honest and open with your partner about your addiction. I’ve been in your shoes, maybe worse. I gamble once or twice a year now but only what I can afford. You just need a support network and have the self discipline to stay away from it. Good luck
1st September 2019 at 1:54 pm #79122Cheers he knows I’ve always gambled mainly was bingo sites but then more recently slots . Terrified of his reaction when I tell him tbh

Gamstop is your answer. You won’t be able to access any UK regulated online casino, so you won’t be able to gamble online anymore.
It’ll be tough to begin with, but when you start racking up money in your bank account you’ll be sooooooo glad you did it! 🙂

21st September 2019 at 2:45 pm #791311st September 2019 at 3:45 pm #79136Most of us have been there. It will be a tuff month but you’ll get there. And you’ve realised how quick it can turn from fun to losing every penny of you have. Next month enjoy your wage and don’t stick it in slots. Gamban or gamstop will block you from casinos online and GA are great from talking to someone. and obvs on here. The feeling your feeling many have felt and can help you through this shitty time. Wishing you strength x

1st September 2019 at 7:10 pm #79141This is my first post since signing up to the forum but it’s a post I can relate to I have had months where I’ve had nothing cause of gambling and I know how difficult it is as I’m sure most on here do.
I would recommend gamban I just bought a licence for the year a couple of weeks ago after doing my head in chasing a wild line on DOA 2. It’s easy to install and I’ve tried every gambling site I know just to see if any have slipped through the net and can honestly say it’s blocked the lot but the downside is it only works on the Device it’s downloaded on but you can download to as many devices as you like once you have an account but if like me you only have a phone and computer and no access to anything else then it’s definitely worth it. Yes it’s £25 a year but I’m sure you know it’s easy to lose ten times that amount in a day.
I know you have said you can’t afford a gamban license now but they offer a 14 day free trial so I would say sign up to it and see if it helps for those 14 days and if it works for you and if you are confident it will stop you gambling I will personally cover the £25 for your first year if it helps you get back on your feet.
Sorry for such a long post I hope I haven’t bored everyone.
