So I am a long time lurker and have been gamble free for over 2 years (so the Mrs thinks) ? and I have been able to hide it with just doing a few hundred a month she won’t notice…well here’s the limbo part. I have just won £19.000 on a slot online and I can’t say nothing can I? We have separate bank accounts but how can I have a blow out ??‍♂️ Or treat her ??‍♂️I started with £200 £4 spins in danger and got a few bonus maybe 3 I think and the 3rd paid £800ish so went to bonanza on £8 stake and bal went to £1600ish then another2  bonus on £10  one paid £100 ish and the next went for £17897 ?I’ve played a little more and withdrawn £19000.help!

Spend 10k of it on her, apologise for going behind her back. And have some awesome make up sex!

Open an ISA and put it in there asap. Don’t tell her if you don’t have to, but it’s there for emergencies. If you want to tell her, then tell her the full truth and that you’ve been having the odd gamble, and you’ve won a lot of money you think could help towards things.

My other half hates it when I gamble, but hates it just as much when I win because he thinks it’s going to make me want to play more. I play when I lose so a win won’t make me play more.. I’ll play just as much, if not less. All I’m saying is think about what you’re going to do before you do it  🙂

Ok last xmaz i won over 10k was in the same boat as yourself ,I being a dengen didnt tell the wife ,you know what happend i spunked it all back and then some ,Do the right thing tell her, enjoy the winnings  ,to be real you probley wont hit 19k again for some years and your money be gone ,you wont be happy with small wins for a while as all of us really want that bigger win , Take a break you earned it , think of it this way how long would it take you to earn that 19k ,if i could go back id tell the wife ,

Get the money out and once you’ve got it your account just come clean to your missus and get yourself on gamstop as a way of proving you are now done with it for good. She might stay pissed at you for a while but you’ve now got 19k to enjoy with the missus. Perhaps book a holiday to somewhere she has always wanted to go so you can sweeten her up a bit after telling her the ugly truth. 🙂 Honesty is the best policy, lies only lead to more lies and you’ll eventually be caught out.

To be honest, even when I do go and watch the races I always take a crossword book with me to entertain when I’m tired/bored of watching hamilton win for the millionth time. Them 5am walks to silverstone on race day just to get good places to sit ready for the track run are awful, but the after parties always make up for it :p
