After watching that video i’m disgusted how a slot can play like that especially on a bonus buy. I can’t afford to do that stuff but surely it has to be looked at. Not sure how but to give a zero bonus after spiffing like £750 is vile (if it was that amount). Unlucky bandit just don’t play it again

I’m very disdainful of feature buys as a concept. More dangerous than roulette, look at what people have done on Extra Chilli. I never played that, I stuck with Bonanza and if Bonanza had a feature buy I wouldn’t have used it. The price for the buy is always more than the expected return of the bonus, the very best case scenario is that in some games like White Rabbit they change a high-risk, high-reward game in to a low-risk, low-return one and worst case scenario they rip you off for thousands of individual spins’ worth of stake for maybe even zero return.

That was robbery without violence. Felt gutted watching but compelling viewing. I think a lot of people are going to get seriously destroyed with this new genre of “buy a bonus.”

I don’t do the online gambling but I do try the free play on Casumo (which seems to have disappeared)

I bought loads of free play bonuses at £2k, hardly any showed a profit and a number of them paid out double figures (£21)

This bonus buy shit is poisonous and as is evidenced by the bandit, a reasonably savvy gambler, can suck you in because “it must be due”

Its never “due” – you only have to look at that tragic story of the lady who tried to commit suicide after trying to win on extra chilli because the 24 spins had to be due!

that bonus that you are “due” may be getting collected by someone else on the site 🙂

I agree that it was brutal – and I am glad that I watched it as it reminds me that this is the usual outcome of gambling, but I have to say they were massive buys, and totally couldn’t believe that some had a zero payback.

The dirtiest is part is the zero win when you hit 11 of anything. It’s filthy that there wasn’t a contingency built into this slot so that it would never give you the jackpot number unless it was going to hit for something.

I too have had the 11 heavy duty wilds miss completely for a big fat zero and it is utterly disgusting!

I do like Spinal Tap, but only in moderation, it can be horrendous as Steve showed.

Turbo shitbags for even making it a thing! that, that is like the bandit rightly said is theft. No 2 ways about it id have been foaming from the mouth, eyes the size of basketballs threaders. Luckily we have the man himself to save us all from that royal shafting!

I bought 4 bonus’s on Book of Gods earlier today, all at £8 each (10p stake), I won: £2.20, £3.50, £4.50 and £7.90. The latter one it gave me 20 spins instead of the normal 15.

I can see why Steve keeps hitting the ‘buy now’ button as it is so nice and addictive to have a bonus so easily.

That Spinal Tap though was just plain unfair.

My only thing with the spinal tap buy is that i see it as not actually the actual bonus you’re buying. It’s more akin to paying for the genie to come out, peter griffin or a “hey you guys” and we know they don’t always pay great.

I do agree with biohazard though hitting 11 of anything or even 6 and above should be paying something good.

The problem with buying bonuses is that you automatically believe they should pay something back. If bonuses are random (as the spins are) then the chance of getting zero is the same as hitting 1000x. Just because they bonus it dosent mean they have an obligation to pay. It still feels like a kick in the nuts when they do not pay though. The Spinal Tap bonuses showed this in all its brutallity. I felt a sick and was so glad the roulette paid…. Bandits on another level to us mere mortals…lol… great recovery.
