    Hi all,

I am looking to save money for a house…. what do you do to get that buzz you used to get from gambling, when you can’t gamble anymore?

I think its it’s hard for people haven’t gambled to understand the rush or buzz you get from it, I think the money is  secondary for me.

If money is secondary just stick to deposit limits and play low stakes. Nothing better than a big win from pittance!

Problem is,banks frown on any gambling if applying for a morgage, best to have clean accounts from gambling for 6months or so before trying to get one.

As for replacing the Buzz, ive no idea, let me know if you find this miracle lol

I know what you mean Maher. For me, I watch the Bandit and a few other streamers and it gives me a buzz watching them plays and hit big – but none more entertaining than Bandit.

Sometimes I also have a little bash on free play on the likes of casumo – cost nothing, no log in and can play most games and enjoy a bonus.

For a gambler, nothing will be the same as the real thing, but it’ll be worth the sacrifice when you’ve got that house! Good luck to you

Anything to do with sport for me. Playing or watching. Nothing better than watching your team play at 3pm on a Saturday. I know not everyone’s team but standing in the kop at 2.55 listening to ynwa is to me a better feeling than any gambling. Also I’m a pool, snooker player and golfer. So the buzz of a long pot. 300 yard drive in golf. That’s one hell of a buzz. Well for me it is anyway. Also I love most music. So going to a concert listening to your favourite group. Not much tops that.

Just transfer funds to a PayPal account then? Bank statements show as a PayPal transaction and no trace of betting is seen, same with withdrawals from PayPal.

You know what, me and my dad got to loads of games last season with relative ease in the ticket buying process (we got to 10 home games which is good going through membership only)

This season now we’re challenging at the top all of a sudden they’re as rare as rocking horse shite, pisses me off man. There isn’t actually a better feeling than being in Anfield 3 o clock on a Saturday ?

I can believe there hard to get. Even though I’m in Lincolnshire I work in Liverpool at least once a fortnight and lots of people say similar but that feeling like you say at 3pm it’s makes hairs on the back of your neck stand up.

It may not be my place to answer here as i still ‘gamble’ but as for replacing the buzz  this is down to you really find something to challenge yourself. Me I run in my opinion no greater challenge then out running in the middle of nowhere no-one around to impress or stop you from quitting but you battle on and fight on through and keep going. Everyone is different however keeping the mind occupied is key.

Liverpool fan and your best mate is a United fan? Bet you’ve had fun this season laughing at Steve haha. 😀 Pool fan here also!

To the OP: Get a separate bank account and deposit your gambling money into that like Steve does then make a budget of how much you want to save each month and how much you will give yourself for hobbies and entertainment. If you like gambling and you can stick to your budget then there’s no reason you can’t continue just set your limits on whatever casino you use and stick to them, play low stakes and keep saving towards your house. If you can’t do this then gamban yourself and exclude yourself from all local casino’s and bookies.

My releases when I can’t gamble are gaming, reading and hopefully I will stop being such a lazy prick and start going the gym again, you get a decent rush from that!

I agree with this. It’s an awesome feeling fighting with a carp for 20 minutes. Only problem is before I joined gamstop I was slotting whilst waiting for a bite lol
