I have been reading about them bringing in a 2 quid online stake cap in the UK. In my opinion this will happen. Do you think UK streamers will lose viewers because lets be honest people want the high stake streamers. Will guys like The Bandit and Paul still be interested in streaming at such low stakes? I know The Bandit done a low stakes video but I very much doubt it was much fun to him.
6th November 2019 at 11:38 am #82867I actually think a cap would be better for certain streamers like bandit and rolla. One i don’t believe they would lose viewers and two a cap would hopefully make it impossible to lose more than let’s say 5k a video. It could actually be a blessing but like most things if the government implement this it will probably take 3 years. The likes of Roshtein who i personally couldn’t give a flying fuck about will lose viewers though. His streams are all about the stakes where rolla has an excellent relationship with his followers and interacts with people in the chat and bandit well i don’t think it matters what stake he plays people will always watch.
6th November 2019 at 12:14 pm #82871I think it was right to abolish the £50-100 stakes, but the 2 quid max is a bit to low imo and should be raised to 5 . However, the first Youtubers i followed were Buddylove and Stop and Step playing 50p – 2 quid stakes, so i could easily get used to watching 2 pound max stakes. Btw. It’s about time the bookies raised the 500 pound jackpots. Been that level for too long.
6th November 2019 at 12:58 pm #82873Forget about the streamers what about the poor old bonus bashers, with £2 max bet wagering will be near impossible with most offers
6th November 2019 at 1:04 pm #82874Haz totally on the money …£2 quid is bandit kind of go to stake …. so I doubt it will affect him …..you might see people include a foreign player in their you tube subs for those high stakes …. like I said before tho I’m here for the banter , so personally it would change my viewing , I doubt it would change bandits play….buuut saying that I get the impression he likes a blow out now and again so I think he’d be more annoyed personally not playing reel on 40 in his own time compared to Sunday slots having to stick to £2
fucking hell imagine with him not spend 40 quid a spin He might go multi screen ….. 20 screens of two pounds spins … ha ha
116th November 2019 at 3:05 pm #82879It won’t affect me if I decided to play online very rarely go above £1 but like Malky said if you take a welcome bonus there’s no chance your cashing out with £2 max bet so it’s going to make bonus offers for UK players completely redundant.
I’m not sure I actually agree with this one and most of the time I’m all for more restrictions being added but I feel this change will punish too many players who do like to bet above £2. Casinos already have to ask for proof of income so surely the best thing to do would be to use that information in a shared database amongst all casinos you sign up to and once you reach a certain % of your annual wage they cut you off for the year. Obviously that would be a lot harder to do because people often have multiple sources of income but surely there’s a better way of doing it rather than punishing everyone, there are some people who can gamble and not lose everything, not me like but plenty of other people ?.
6th November 2019 at 11:56 pm #82908I’m also here for the banter. I don’t really care what stakes Bandit or others play. I think this is a bit OTT though – online isn’t as seedy as bookies roulette and there are plenty of people who can afford to play at more than £2. I would like to see something like £2 max unless you can pass some affordability test (something like a credit reference from your bank).
7th November 2019 at 12:10 am #829097th November 2019 at 1:58 pm #82925@allang84 , how long have you been watching? I’m years deep and I reckon 99% of what I’ve watched on the Bandits channel has been on 2 quid. Yet you don’t think it’ll be fun to him? :/
The high stakes I’ve seen have been the swarm and reel king (to exploit the loopholes in the two games – cheaply building the swarm and the “must hit” ladder gamble respectively), then hitting the other games at high stakes simply because we’re playing with a big balance. Very recent additions, not the norm and – as we’ve seen recently – not sustainable.
Other than that it’s just the subscriber specials that get a bit spicy on the stakes.
£2 isn’t a low stake, I’m not sure how many times that’s been said before but two pounds per spin is a lot more than Joe Public is going to be spinning, it’s not nosebleed levels but it’s not cheap either, a grand can go in a few minutes turbo spinning the wrong game.
Personally I welcome the cap, but for regular gamers it’s a little frustrating not to be able to raise a bit on the lower variance games. I like 4 quid on jammin Jars and a fiver on gargatoon, that often costs less than spinning Danger on a quid in my experience.
7th November 2019 at 2:47 pm #82929Jammin jars on 4 quid costs less than danger on a pound . Jammin jars base game is really shit . You must get lucky on jammin

It’s tailed off a bit but I used to play that slot free for hours. You’re not the first one to say that by the way, I must just have hit that at lucky times because I reckon I’m up overall and a £500 deposit would last absolutely ages!

Plus Danger is utter tripe. I bet I can count the number of bonuses I’ve had on one hand. Never had a 100x, struggling to recall a 50x if I’m honest. That one slot has been one of my biggest money pits of all time, worse even than Bonanza.
7th November 2019 at 3:08 pm #82933As far as Im aware this will only be Uk so guys like Letsgiveitaspin and Labowski will still be able to do higher spins.
The issue that I think will annoy Uk streamers is say they are a grand down on £2 stakes. Normally they would start increasing stakes. They wont be able to do this.
Also regarding the bonus wagering requirements. It will be impossible so surely guys such as Nickslots would need to play raw as if they hit the bonus balance they have very little chance of beating the wagering requirements.
7th November 2019 at 5:10 pm #82939for me i think its a good call saves thousand being spent in a matter of minutes and we can relate to the streamers again although i do enjoy the odd high stake video for most of us here we started watching bandit at low stakes first my lowest is £1 but rarely go higher i remember the days when rocknrolla was the high roller of the slotting community now everyone’s at it and i believe with everyone capped at £2 it might give us all a better chance of winning but could be wrong im not clued up on how it all works but if say chipmonks just dropped a 4k win on primal at £5 stake would that limit my chance of winning not sure but still think the capped stake will save marriages/lives and friendships so its a good thing
7th November 2019 at 5:26 pm #82940Maybe I’m wrong but won’t any streamer currently running at very high stakes just move to casinos that aren’t uk based?
Also I’m not sure maxing the stakes at £2 will have much effect (although it certainly won’t do any harm). You can still blow thousands even at that level.
