My heart is pounding so fast right now, because I just won my biggest hand on blackjack. Had $13 to spare and decided to do one hand on live BJ. Bet $10 in the middle, $1 on Perfect Pairs and $2 on 21+3. So what happened? See for yourselves:
I could not believe it, had to share it with someone. The dealer was shocked as well, we had some nice interaction after the hand 🙂
111th July 2019 at 4:08 am #73998What a result buddy, nice one! Dream hit that, generally the best possible side bet you can hit outside of progressive side bets. 🙂
Funny you post this. I was at the casino tonight with some friends, and we were going made betting on Top3, which is essentially similar to what you’re playing there, but only the top three outcomes pay. 270x for suited trips (like you had here), 180x for straight flush and 90x for mixed trips. Managed a 90x on a £5 on my last hand that I was playing. Absolutely mental!
111th July 2019 at 5:16 am #74000Haha get in there, glad to hear! I know what top 3 is, I sometimes play ‘All Bets Blackjack’ from Playtech 🙂
What really baffled me about it is that I literally only played the one hand. I had just sat down. As you can see in the screenshot, the dude at the table wasn’t happy. But he wouldn’t have had the perfect suited trips anyway.
Really amazing how random it can all be. I almost chose a different table too. And had the incredible inspiration to bet $2 on 21+3. Truly mental!
11th July 2019 at 9:51 am #74003What is the 21+3? How do 2 tens make that pay already? What am I missing here?
A lot of questions I know but I’m that clued up on side bets on BJ

It’s a sidebet on the 2 cards for the player and the face-up card for the dealer. You can make a straight, flush, straight flush and 3-of-a-kind. In this case it’s a perfect suites trips (3 tens of spade), payout 100 to 1.
Nice hit! Bit jealous, after playing 1000s of hands I have never hit it myself..
Enjoy the money!
1111th July 2019 at 12:07 pm #74024I think it’s roughly 1 in 4,000 chance with eight decks used. So incredibly unlikely.
To get that first hand is nothing short of amazing!

What am i missing here bio ? I don’t understand what the big win is or the rules. I know how to play blackjack of course. I thought the best you could get was 3/2 for blackjack.

4000/1 chance that pays 100/1? Was a nice win but surely that’s just asking to get fisted taking them odds

Exactly, that’s why I felt the need to share it with you guys. The money isn’t really THAT much, it’s the amazing hit, how incredibly rare it is, and to get it on one hand played. Still can’t believe it. I regret not having the screen capture software on. The dealer’s reaction was priceless.

The sidebets offer multiple ways of winning, not just by hitting suited trips. Of course, as with any gambling offer, the house has the edge, and mathematically speaking, you should probably not play the sidebets. Perfect basic strategy(without playing sidebets) lowers house edge to 51%, but sidebets make the game a lot more exciting.
11th July 2019 at 1:15 pm #74039If I understand from the replies you’ve won £1,300 right?
If so fuckin get in there mate what a hit at the end of the balance ?
11th July 2019 at 1:27 pm #74041Here’s a screenshot where you can see exactly what each sidebets pays, so there’s no more confusion. I realize most people don’t play the sidebets and don’t know how they work or what they pay out. Usually you bet between 10%-20% of your main bet on the sidebets. You make the hand with your 2 cards and the dealer’s up card.

No mate I wish! I won $243 on a $13 bet. $10 bet in the middle, $1 on Perfect Pairs and $2 on 21+3. The 21+3 sidebet paid 100x so $200. Like I said earlier, the money isn’t THAT much, it’s the rarity of the hit that is amazing and how it was the very first hand as I had just sat down.
