event was in play and il stand by if they make the mistake they have to pay for that same as i would or anyone else if we made errors we all have to pay for them….. and it was the way in which they let me spend the money and then put my account into debt the day after is the scummy part that i dont like so i lost twice in that sense

You say they like the bookies is just 1 person doing all the work. Am not against you here mate am just say that ibas can’t help you on this one inplay bets can be a bit iffy also as systems may update slower or whatever. Have seen hundreds of cases where bookies have paid out on losing bets before to later realise and take it back so i wouldn’t hold my breathe on them clearly the account debt. If this is an account you value a would suggest you just pay up if not and the debt isnt into the thousands just dont use them again doubt they will enforce payment for a couple hundred

Happened with me a few times on Bet365, never to the point where I’ve managed to withdraw though, I just stopped betting with them till they re-zeroed the balance. One time it was £125, didn’t bet with them for a few months. Just before the world cup sent me an email to say as a gesture of godwill my balance is back at zero. They had it back and them some in the world cup alone ?. Give it time, if you bet regurlarly with them they’ll want you back and it’s a a small amount for them.

I take it you redeposited as they are not aliud to take money from your bank account without permission,why did you redeposit,should have just left your account in debt.

Also its normal if bookies make a genuine error like happened here then they dont pay out,imagive if someone won millions when a result had already happened you cant expect them to pay out,thye would probably just get some good will gesture of not alot….Ibas couldnt side with you unless paddy actually took the money themselves without your permission,if so you should contact your bank.

i won 125 off a bonus i had saved on game section which cleared the debt so i won nothing …. from now on tho playing poker on coral for few weeks if feel like need to put sports bets on be at the bookies the tilt online of being ripped off is destroying can honest say when they ripped my ass that week i must of lost further 500 out of rage that i was conned but it happens and all proves theres nothing in support for the punters just all protection of the leaches at the top wouldnt it be funny tho if i won the bandits competition on paddy power that would be karma ha

I’ve read the first few posts mate and i have got to say – this would happen at any bookies in the world? If you placed a bet, knowingly or not, after a result is already known, when they notice, that bet is going to be voided. I know you are currently hating on specifically Paddy Power for that but Ibas are there for a reason, when the bookie is taking the piss they will say so. it doesn’t surprise me that Ibas have ruled in the bookies favour on this occasion. When your account went to a minus, you could probably have left it there in a minus and they wouldn’t have been able to do much about it but i simply can’t side with you on that they have done wrong. Not your fault as you said you didn’t know the result had already happened but a standard practice from any bookmaker in my opinion.

I once bet on an obscure Indian foott match and could see the goals going in on the in play coverage. As far as I saw the best won 4-0. In my account it showed a win but I didnt get paid. Spoke to live chat and apprently the bet lost 2-4. They then linked me to a score site they used to show correct score. I never found the match result on any other scoring site. Couldve made it up for all I know.

just think they could of voided the bets quicker but they let me spend then took back when deposited….. stopping thein play bets tho from now on maybe just the odd acca or lucky 15 s on weekend
