Am i exaggerating or is there cause for concern if you hit a big win. Will you be paid out ?. In the last 2 days there’s been stories of withheld winnings, balances disappearing, withdrawals declined because of change of jobs. Is this just a tiny percentage of withdrawals or is this a growing trend. How can people play with confidence that if they hit that rare big win they will go on to actually receive their winnings.  Am i just been paranoid. There seems to be so many stipulations now it certainly makes you wonder is it worth it and if people do hit a big win does it take away some of the buzz of winning because the first thought is yes I’ve won but I haven’t really won until the money is physically in my bank. My intention is not to put doubt in people’s minds.sites have already done this. Be interested to hear people’s thoughts on this

It is a growing trend to be honest mate but usually, there is a reason for the casino withholding a win – maybe you broke the bonus terms, maybe you used someone elses card, perhaps you were self excluded on a sister site or maybe you have more than one account with that very casino and are bonus abusing, usually there is a reason so just make sure you are happy that everything you do is legit and you are signed up as yourself, using your own card and everything should be completely fine.

Even with me, had Videoslots not usually been as fast to process withdrawals and pay out, i would never have known they were having a look in to the wins because i wouldn’t have had cause to ask about the lengthy pending period, as i 100% know all i did was press start, gamble and then collect at the end, i would have got the money in the end as they couldn’t have found any wrongdoing, if they ever decided the game was broken, i would imagine they would have still paid being as big as they are and then the game would have been removed to prevent any further play but the game has been around years and years, i’m lucky on it but i will lose at some point and have done before, multiple thousands, on Videoslots and i will do again, that is just the way of it eh!

Think its probably in everyones best intrests to start recording game sessions as evidence of fair and legit plays, incase the casino does try having your balls in a vice!

I always feel the way OP does. The biggest win I ever got was from verajohn for £7K and they paid me out almost immediately. That was nice. So many times it’s bullshit though over even a few hundred quid, often less than my total deposits at the site.

The majority of sites I play at make withdrawals pending for long periods, up to 4 days sometimes. I try to avoid those sites now. Then it’s your proof of address document has lost a corner somehow after already being approved, which took ages. Then when you take a clear picture of 4 corners with clear space around them, they say the writing is too small. My granny could read it from 50 yards away ya blind cunt! Nobody seems to wants to answer a question about withdrawals but if you wanna deposit, boy are they fast.

@Thebandit – if you infringe their bonus terms then OK a casino can take back that money and your winnings. But look at it this way. When you let your wife play Reel King for £thousands on your behalf, she is gambling with your money on your account. It’s specifically against the T&C of most casinos that I’ve ever read. You are technically not allowed to let someone else play on your account. You say on camera, “this is nothing to do with me, it’s your decision wife, I’m not even looking”, or similar stuff. The difference between that and you playing with your wife’s card, or vice-versa, is semantics. Are you saying the casino should take back all your Reel King winnings because you marginally infringed one of their rules? I think that would be grossly unfair.

I don’t mean to have a go at you but casinos refusing to pay out is one of my pet hates. I believe the law has changed already or will be changed soon regarding casino withdrawals. The casinos currently have in their T&C that they can do whatever they like with withdrawals, especially when it comes to big wins. They say wins are capped in certain ways. That big wins/withdrawals will be paid out at a maximum of £100K or £10K/month. That regular withdrawals are capped at £2K or £5K per day or whatever. The government are generally a useless shower of shites but in this case, they have done us a favour. In future that will no longer be legally acceptable. Casinos have to pay out when people win. Simple as that. Their T&C are not gospel.

One of my chief concerns about playing online has always been if a legal dispute crops up.using video slots as an example their terms and conditions state that legal disputes will be held in their jurastinction which is Malta.not that clued up about Maltese law but pretty sure the chances of a favourable outcome out their is zero.the right people’s palms have been greased I’d say.the .same as those other obscure offshore islands they all seem to base themselves in.

I think it’s worth remembering these incidents are very rare against the number of people withdrawing amounts both small and big from casinos every day. I gambled online at a dozen casinos for 3 years before I recently self excluded and never once had a problem getting my money from any of them, nor did I ever have my account verification take longer than 24 hours. A non exhaustive list of casinos I’ve used include Casumo, Videoslots, Energy, Redbet, Risk, Guts, Mr Green and LeoVegas.

I know it has been said countless times in other threads, but EVERY casino should make players verify BEFORE depositing. Once verified, unless you break terms, then you will get your money. Casinos taking money, and then finding problems is bullshit. I am a gambler, who recently closed my accounts used for slotting. I could easily open up new ones at hundrreds of casinos, but I wont, as I have no ID. It’s a good deterrent. I dont have sympathy for those that deposit and cannot then verify, but still, casino’s should not take advantage of that,

I think that a casino will always pay you out unless you breach and T’s & C’s or you’re using a shady casino.

The only thing I’ve seen happy to me many times is the tactics they use to prolong the process of a cashout, so that it may tempt the player to continue playing or reverse a withdrawal and then eventually lose the money.

The silly thing here is, (taking the bandits example with VS and Reel King)……they were already supposedly investigating and at any point in time Steve could have reversed the pending withdrawals and continued to play and then lose it all, in which case he wouldn’t hear anything from the casino about the outcome of the supposed investigation.

I had a very similar case with VS where I actually went and lost it all to the tune of £52k, which i’ve written about in another post, but in fairness and with hindsight. VS do offer to block your account from further play while an investigation or verification is in progress, so therefore technically protecting you from continued play and potential loss.

Anyway, waffling a bit, but don’t think we have anything to worry about as long as you do your KYC checks immediately and get docs in quickly as and when required then you’ll be all good.

I think if you stick to we’ll know casinos you will be OK. When you ban yourself then go around looking for dodgy casinos who arnt part of gamban, then you will come across all sorts of problems and dodgy terms.

All these checks are ridiculous but if you want to play online it’s what you have to do.

If you fancy a gamble but with no strings attached … Poker sat night at mine £100 by ins ?.

Edit.. 2 stings ill supply the beer so get a free seat ?

Just a quick question since sticking to the bonus terms was mentioned and I’m kind of new to slotting. How can you breach bonus terms? I imagine the obvious one would be betting more than the stake stated but how often do casinos let you do this? Would an error box of some kind pop up and tell you that you can’t bet that stake due to the bonus or is it common for casinos to let you bet what you want with bonus money even if it goes over the stated stakes?

@Green2711 it’s difficult in practice for casinos to automatically prevent you breaching the max stake with bonus funds due to a level of disconnect between the game on the provider’s server and the casino – they can only supply one balance. So yeah the player just has to be aware of what they’re doing.
