I’m on Gamstop, like many of you, and almost all UK casinos are now part of this scheme. Unfortunately the regulator has been slow to force casinos to sign up and as such, I know of at least one casino holding a UK Gambling Commission licence which Gamstop registered players can still deposit and play on.
When I found that site, I signed up and immediately self-excluded on site without making a deposit, as I felt this would prevent any temptation at any point to gamble. I would not trust any site which doesn’t hold a UK licence so that’s not an issue for me.
My question – does anyone know if there are other UK licensed casinos NOT on the Gamstop register? Or is it only the one? Last thing I want is to feel the urge at some point down the line and end up finding a casino which will accept me. I signed up with Gamstop to protect myself because I didn’t trust myself to be sensible.
