Hi all…. As I’ve not been playing slots since December, last slot played was Jammin Jars, I’ve not missed it tbh, I used to play poker and was doing OK throughout the years but due to the Slots and Casino I found myself chasing more and more on slots, and It pissed me off that much that I stopped playing poker also because when winning I could not control myself…. And with all the new bonus buys etc I would do my bollocks in chasing them. So today I’ve decided to Stop.

I work full time so the Poker was also hard to keep up and taking my time away from my family…

I’d like to thank this forum for helping me make my own decision to do so, longest I’ve ever been of slots was 6/7 months without a gamble… I hope to beat that and more and if I get slot free for a year it would be a miracle ?

I’ve got everything that I want really, so why gamble on slots is my way of thinking… I still intend to watch the Bandit & Rockinrolla playing and take it from there, I can’t promise I will stay clean and will report in this thread if I go gambling. My plan for staying clean is to try every restaurant in my price range around the city as I like eating out and watching these streams… ??? Not much of a plan but Atleast I’ll spend the money on something I like. If I manage to save up I’ll go to Vegas for the Pokers ??? as its also something I’ve done before I really enjoyed the experience.

Best of luck mate! I know what you mean about the poker, it’s a harsh life trying to juggle a full time job with playing MTT tournaments…you get home load up some games, run deep playing 10+ hours and by the time you get your head down your due back in work in a few hours having had no sleep and staring at a screen all night so your eyes are like buttons! Playing on your only day off just isn’t going to be profitable or fair on your family so it’s a hard thing to do unless your a pro or a full time streamer.

I think I’ll be following suit, had my last crack this month at trying to win something half decent to throw towards my debts but gone and pissed it away with nothing to show for it and increased the time it’s going to take to pay them off now. Oh well, it’s my own fault and was worth a shot but looks like it just ain’t gonna happen. So I’ve got £50 left in my video slots account which I accidentally set my loss limit wrong thinking it was a deposit limit so I can’t touch it for another week due to the cooling off period and I’m still not verified so I doubt I will go through the hassle just for  £50. I’ve decided it’s going to be my last session and then I plan on using Gamban for a year which I really dont know how well I’ll cope with but you’ve got to draw a line in the sand at some point eh.

@Blacko & Green…. Thanks guys… Its gonna be hard, no doubts about it, as its easy for me to pop into the casino when it’s quiet, thats my main problem… If I continue to do so then its a self ban and no poker in Vegas baby… ?

I’d suggest you take up a hobby mate to fill the void. I’m probably going to start smashing the gym again and dusting off my PS4.
