Fuming and gutted, was on Royal Panda, deposited £20 and had £10 bonus attached because it was a Friday. Won up to £1000 on book of dead playing on £1 stake. Then went on extra chilli and bought 11 bonus buys at £50 each, balance went down to £250 so i went to withdraw, it said there was no cash available to withdraw, then balance just went to zero. contacted live chat and they said because i was playing bets over £5 it was void. Phoned their office for them to say the same thing and that there decision is final.
Has anyone had anything similar happened to them?
Devastated…
16th December 2018 at 8:27 am #28753No . If on a bonus I would not be buying 50 pound extra chilli bonuses
116th December 2018 at 8:55 am #28759to be fair the stake on the bonus buy is under a fiver but you should have checked the terms or double checked with them first, it happened to me on BGO with £800 once right at the end of wagering because i did a spin on roulette and accidently pressed double and spin ?

But it’s a stake of £50 because that’s what OP bought it for. The only time you should do bonus buys on a bonus balance is if the buy cost it’s self is less or equal to the max bet. Always read t&c
16th December 2018 at 9:41 am #28777I know but you can understand where OP is coming from it’s not an unreasonable assumption that the stake would be what the bonus is spinning at.. I don’t count a bonus buy of £50 paying £100 as 2x I’d count it as 100x on pound stake
16th December 2018 at 9:51 am #28781I do understand but they bought the bonus for £50, so wouldn’t it have made them think hmm.. yeah it might be £1 spins but I’ve paid £50 for this? It’s a £50 stake, which as you’re aware is well over the max bet.
The stake is what ever you buy it for, whether it be a spin, a round on black Jack, a spin on roulette.
It’s like saying I’ll stick to £5 a hand on blackjack because that’s the max bet.. but I’ll have 3 hands.
Hopefully it doesn’t happen again now you’re aware of it @maundie
Also just to add if you wasn’t aware, casinos hate bonus hunts in bonus balances, so if you’re going to do one, check with live support first. I’ve seen 2 streamers get dicked by this so far, just because they didn’t ask or read t&c.
16th December 2018 at 10:43 am #28794Yeah alot of casinos won’t let you do feature buys, pretty common and well know. Sucks you lost out dude, harsh lesson for next time maybe?
16th December 2018 at 11:43 am #28810Casumo is the casino to play on if you want to buy bonuses with bonus money, they allow it, sorry to hear bro that does suck aye
16th December 2018 at 11:55 am #28812I suppose it’s easy to not know about wagering . I remember first playing on bonanza and thinking it was the size that mattered . Ha thinking look at the size off that diamond how much is that oh same as the small one ?
16th December 2018 at 12:16 pm #28814Aspers allowed me no limit stakes on 100% bonus. Played my £200 upto £3500 of the 5k wagering using big bets among other things. Never breached 400 and the max collect is 500. Ended up tilting like an idiot and lost it all lol. Feel for you though… if we read all small print, we do nothing but read small print.
16th December 2018 at 12:20 pm #28815The max stake on bonus money . Should be in large letters and u tick a box where it clearly says wot max bet is when u make your deposit . But at the end off the day u dont read all the small print . Because u dont think your gonna win anyway
16th December 2018 at 12:37 pm #28820Bonuses, in general are bad things.. i can see why people take them.. but the reason for the wagering, is because statistically, the casino’s know that maybe 0.5% cash out when on a bonus.
When you do go to cash out, the T’&C’s come and smash you in the face !
The UKGC needs to regulate casino’s far more than they do, with the rules they abide by… examples
1) No max cashout (the casino’s need to indemnify themselves for any large wins)
2) Bonuses should be simple deposit bonuses, deposit today, and get 20 spins on xxx game. no other type allowed. no wagering
3) They should not be allowed to close your account unless you breach T&C’s. some dodgier ones close your account if you win. !
4) They need to sort verification rules out. every casino seems to do it different. I’ve deposited 12k+ on betfair – and cashed out 10k+ (no longer have an account), but never EVER verified !! Casumo now asking for verification after a deposit of about 2k, with 2k withdrawn.
5) UKGC needs to investigate any casino refusing to payout a player. and arbitrate ANY disputes.
I’m sure there’s more…..

That bit about 0.5% is way off. It’s around 13%.
But the cash out levels once wagering is done is way higher than people on a standard balance. Feels like more of a mission I guess..
16th December 2018 at 2:00 pm #28837Some casinos don’t allow you to buy bonuses with bonus money and so you avoid this shit happening as it bars you at the door so to speak. I’d have ran with the grand before the bonus buys personally (if that were possible, wagering and such)
