Fair comment @Dynamik.
We are on a forum where someone rinses £60k on a stream- is that responsible. Absolutely not. But Bandit has the money to blow so fair play to him, and makes a great video win, loose or draw.Real money/Fake money/monopoly money who gives a toss. All the streamers are making something somewhere along the lines and only if we use there link or watch there videos.
Any we don’t like, don’t do the above and they’ll not earn anything from us.
if they contravene laws or rules they’ll get pulled, but NEVER personally attack someone with name calling and bullying. Have a discussion and chat but the name calling on here has to stop. Mental health isn’t a joke and it’s all fun and games untill someone gets hurt. Please think before typing…….122nd September 2020 at 7:52 am #103857Like I’ve said many times before (and probably mirroring what @lifeslots is getting at but from a slightly different angle)
The people who have got a problem with another creator, I’ll use chip as an example because of what’s being said… If you’ve got a valid point, honestly take it up with them. Nearly every creator is active on twitter or have their own forum/website for comments.
This doesn’t mean go troll, if you’re just spreading bullshit, lies and hearsay then unsub and block them on YouTube/social media.
The internet is full of influencers. Pretty much everything you see is influenced. Either accept it or stay away from the internet ?
22nd September 2020 at 8:05 am #10385822nd September 2020 at 9:05 am #103842I’m not one for the conspiracy theories of how these streamers make cash and what deposits they do etc.
What I will say about Chip is that he has changed massively over the last year or so. What he does is a business to him, it needs to be as he gave up his full time job to do it. Early videos you can see real emotion when he gets big wins on small stakes and building up his pot. I remember watching a video of him and his editor and I think Jordan as well, where he handed them nice gifts and gave them a percentage of the winnings on the, he had a big win on Monte and in the end retracted the full percentage amount, none the less it was still a nice touch.
The market isn’t there for 60p streams, he was a max £2 guy for a long time and it worked well and looked genuine. Now that he’s upped the stakes and upped the content, it all seems to stage managed and fixed. The affiliation money is flowing in and the fire in the belly gone it would appear. His giveaways are way behind what most give back, certainly compared to Fruity, The Bandit and Jimbo anyway. I never sign up using anyones link so it makes no difference to me but I know that floats a lot of peoples boats.
22nd September 2020 at 9:07 am #103861When asked the tougher questions many just instantly ban or block you. It’s not as easy as ask and they will give you every piece of information. As this is specifically being spoke about chip I’ll use him. The guy isn’t transparent, he will say he is but he just isn’t. All I ask is be transparent so that nobody is being mislead, especially vulnerable people. In regards to bandit, I’m sure he has posted where basically all his money came from (reel king and swarm) including rough numbers of affiliation. So you can see exactly where his money is from, the fact it’s real and the fact he can afford to lose 60k in a session that’s all his own money. If bandit was doing the same thing but none of the above information was true and he had deals with casinos but didn’t disclose terms of said deals then I would have the exact same opinion as I do with chip. I believe I also have said on this forum that in my mind, the way bandit plays reel king isn’t promoting responsible gambling. It’s effectively a martingale strategy but more complex. I don’t watch the reel king content because it’s boring imo but even though I don’t believe it’s great at promoting responsible gambling, at least I am confident that it is his own money and he can afford to lose it. Which is far better than chip losing, let’s say 3k but it’s what the casino paid him to promote their site while not disclosing that fact. (Not saying he does this but there is enough evidence to suggest it’s a possibility). In regards to the name calling and “bullying” I don’t agree with it. However I do believe there are some valid points and questions that need to be addressed and answered. This includes many other streamers and YouTubers not just chip. UKGC is and will continue to come down hard on gambling content and a time will come where these people will be forced to tell the truth and/or lose their ability to provide for their family through gambling affiliation and content creation.

While I appreciate what you’re saying by taking it up with the content creator, looking at chip, he ignores or deletes any critical comments now, whereas before he engaged them even if he did get stroppy at times.
The tide of opinion has really changed regarding him over the last year to the point he is questioned in the comments more and more lately. He’s gone from an affable clutz to an arrogant braggish, thats not a character assassination thats just whats happened. If the content creator doesn’t engage with his critics what can you do? Unsubbing is an option but I feel really strongly about responsible gambling so I do question him in the comments sections regarding his practices. Its not expecting a reply but more to make others aware of some of the antics he pulls. If one of my comments stops one person trying to copy him then its worth it. Everyone here is probably pretty well versed in gambling but due to his other channels he will have naive younger viewers who might end up addicted and that’s not right.
Why chip? I guess because out of the UK streamers he is the worst for responsible gambling and just cares about lining his pockets (those ropey casinos he uses). I think to compound the issue he tries to portray himself as the nice guy, all for the people. To be fair I call that Ryan slots out all the time but he’s a lot smaller and I think not quite right.
Just my thoughts. Sorry for rambling.
22nd September 2020 at 10:55 am #103871Wow the chip haters are proper bitches he wins and loses like every genuine streamer. Chip does gamble 1k to 2k a stream which he does 6 days a week which is 12k loss before wins. Bandit does that on one stream and plus he can lose 40k plus but you are on his forum calling someone else fake cus he loses less and stakes are lower than bandits.
Bandit would back up chip and tell you he is genuine like hideous, fruity and nick slots will but your all vulgar wankers who like to drag people down for trying to get success.

So let’s say you’re little sister is naive to drugs. A dealer tells her she’ll be fine trying crack etc, she gets hooked and ruins her life. It’s OK because he’s just trying to get success.
Nice contribution ???

Without even checking I know he’s not saying hey do £40 spins because I do and win ?
22nd September 2020 at 12:41 pm #103876<span style=”font-size: 1rem;”>I watch slot videos to just watch I have been I very bad gambler lost thousands and chip and other streamers never encourage me to play I watch that much I’m not even tempted to play when they win or lose because I’m not tempted to play regardless of stakes. If they have the money to play on them stakes let them only people who complain are jealous people who can’t to afford to put £10 on and lose it and blame streamers </span>
22nd September 2020 at 12:44 pm #103877Also he has his videos which are averagely are £5 spins
And jord does low stake videos so all people who are interested have both sides of gambling
And they are not always wins
