Ive watched quite a lot of Nick’s streams and one thing that annoys me is that he will often reference (or get asked) if he is up/down for the year. He will answer saying he is up £20k (or whatever it is but I believe he is ‘up’ currently after his recent wins). I’ve never once heard him caveat that by saying BUT that is only because of the unlimited £500 + £500 deposit bonuses I get. Now I don’t mind what he makes elsewhere from affiliation and I don’t mind that he uses the bonuses because why wouldn’t you if they are available. But these are only available to him because he’s a popular streamer. To give a true representation would be to only include cashouts from raw funds and never from dipping into bonus and beating the wager. I’d bet the actual profit/loss for the year from that method would be more like a 50-100k loss. The problem saying it how he does (and I’m using him as an example but no doubt others do the same) is that it gives his followers the impression that jeez this guy gambles for hours a day, every day and he’s up for the year, maybe I could do that! It makes it seem achievable when in reality it’s not.

This is actually something I’ve never thought about tbh. It’s very true that being able to have unlimited 100% matches has a major impact on overall win/loss. Even as someone who watches a fair amount of content I didn’t even think about this. With nick I commented on his YouTube about what he says when he wins big. When he hit the dead or alive 2 wild line he says “that’s how you do it boys, persistence” I think this has a hugely negative influence on the people watching. I told him this in the comments, in a respectful manner. He was hearting every other other comment but mine. Didn’t respond either. I believe that someone who has so much influence on people in regards to gambling, despite being extremely excited needs to be careful with what they say and how they promote gambling. “Persistence” should not be used when referring to gambling.

Regardless of your argument also note that mental health is regarded as something important on this forum not just for streamers or gamblers but for any individual anywhere.

Didnt see what he said but this is why most streamers don’t want to talk or answer certain questions because they just get insulted with shit like this. I do agree that the Pokémon things needs to be completely separated and no links to his main channel though. From what I’ve seen I do think that is the case but with YouTube recommendations who knows if children are being recommended his gambling content aswell. I think that YouTube are making it mandatory for people watching gambling related content to make an account which should help stop underage viewers.

Having a quick look and he has ( on the face of it ) managed to keep them separate, the twitter links and such don’t obviously point in the slots direction….the thumbnails are very “ YouTube /rosh/omg” and I suppose knowing chips thumbnails for his gambling videos, it’s very familiar looking…$1000 Card opening vs £1000 bonus hunting…. I can see why people are suggesting “ same shit… different audience “ but on the whole I think He’s walked that fine line, it would be shame if youngsters found his other life and somehow became “victims”, but I think you’d need to squint very hard for that to happen ( I’m not saying it can’t, or he’ll Not advertise it in a video, but I think even he would understand the no-no of fishing In a younger pool) equally are Pokemon still a young thing? I imagined it’s nostalgic nerds in their 30s( no offence anyone ) who’d have an interest in it ????

Some concerns will be wrong no doubt but with this many people voicing similar views some will be fair and correct. Chip has seen this thread and spoke about it in one of his latest streams/videos. He’s said its all nonesense and exaggerated some claims to play the victim, granted he probably does feel a bit got at even if some of its valid. I left a comment and said maybe he should use this as an opportunity to address people’s concerns or improve his channel, id certainly respect him for that. I think the only way to expect that though is to keep it relevant and not personal.

No you can’t please everyone but the criticism he receives isn’t just isolated to this thread. I was merely stating if he is bothered by it which I think he is by bringing it up on stream then its a good opportunity to address things.
I do think he needs to pay attention to his critics though, not just ignore them (I dont mean just on this thread). Its easy to say oh its working so I’ll ignore the haters but a year ago he didn’t have many detractors at all but as time has gone on they have steadily increased as the channel has changed direction. It might be making money now but that doesn’t mean it will in the future. A lot of people who dislike how the channel operates now used to support his channel.
Personally I dont care if he doesn’t address anything directly to anyone if he starts being more responsible with how he portrays gambling.

The objective an honest truth is that Chip is a parasite. That’s not name-calling that’s a fact. The multi-accounting with Jord is egregious like it’s money laundering technically to allow someone else to play with your casino account. Jord plays, make his own decisions and takes a cut of winnings, so, that would get all of us banned and forfeit all of our winnings. This is the professional, the casino streamer, but we aren’t allowed to copy what he does? FALSE ADVERTISING. FRAUDULENT.
The casinos tell us this crap is to protect us (verification, refusal of withdrawals etc), then Chipper comes on to abuse the fuck out of everything and make a mockery of the whole thing. It’s just a mirage to get people to deposit and ruin people. Chip loves it, LOVES IT. He wants to ruin as many people as possible so his life is comfortable and he can boast about his Pokemon cards. And we all know Chip is a bully and a psychological manipulator. Dozens of people have said so over an extended period of time. Better protect the mental health rights of the bully making all the money though …. wtf has this world come to? Pack of woke little bitches.

No reply, no discussion, just banned. “please don’t tell everyone I’m using fake money and I’m a fake-money streamer, after the lengths I went to distinguishing myself from the other fake-money streamers”
Chip is reading this thread and he said the other day, “I don’t know how people can watch 100,000 or £200,000 bonus openings which are obviously fake”.

He is talking about Azee or Prodigy I imagine (I’m sure Chip loves prodigy with his video game gambling, skins gambling, loot box gambling, all of which is now illegal in the UK or in the process of being made illegal). Don’t know how you phrased it the first time but this seems reasonable. Don’t agree with all you have said but most I do agree with. I have to say I don’t think chip does what he does to ruin lives but he will be aware his actions and influence will and likely has led to some lives being ruined. Maybe this is something that people disagree with but I have seen gambling addiction take hold and take everything from multiple people when I worked in a landbased casino. That’s without outside influences encouraging gambling because even without all the streamers and YouTubers, gambling is highly addictive and even people on here can attest to their lives being ruined because of gambling addiction.

For real gambling is highly addictive and landbased casinos cause problems. Online is even worse you can lose £1000 while taking a shit or while compromised by prescription medication/alcohol. It’s in our homes.

If you are reading, Chip, people would like you if you weren’t a bully and a shallow, materialistic shell of a man. I know you worship Rothstein (the Kyliest of them all) and Bandit. Yes there have been instances when pictures have been posted of nice things – like 3 or 4 times per year and never before that. Did your heroes create a separate channel to show off their stuff and talk about it every day? NO, because they aren’t desperate for the attention and willing to do literally anything to get it. Maybe Rothstein has IDK if he shows his houses, cars and bank accounts or has a goddam display case of Pokemon cards like a Necromancer displaying severed heads, cause I can’t stand the guy. He’s almost as fake as Chip.
