I am having massive issues with these clowns… my passport is out of date and they won’t accept it as ID. Everything is ok, is there anything I can do about this? It just seems so unfair? I don’t have anymore ID
23rd March 2019 at 1:15 pm #56944That’s one of the problems with these companies.. they are a rule to themselves.
It will be good when the rule comes in that you have to verify before any deposits.. but you probably need to renew your passport before you can get paid out.. which is crazy, as the uk has no official mandatory id documents.
23rd March 2019 at 1:31 pm #56945i had same prob at cusumo my passport had run out the one that they had on file,i renewed passport and all ok after that
23rd March 2019 at 3:03 pm #56955Wont they accept an ID card? They’re about 15 quid from what I remember. Either that or apply for a provisional driver license. Cheaper than a new passport.
23rd March 2019 at 3:14 pm #56958Facebook DEMANDED I send them a picture of my driving license to prove I wasn’t fake. I sent them an image with these accompanying words on :
YOU HAVE SEEN MY ID

You can see another thread about this whole ID thing going now. “A spade is a spade @gambling online”
23rd March 2019 at 3:15 pm #56959Yeah verify before deposits , pisses me off that can pay in thousands with no problem but as soon as you want some back it’s all this verification crap
23rd March 2019 at 8:06 pm #57018Steve is having an absolute nightmare with this casino at the moment!
123rd March 2019 at 8:40 pm #57023Sadly they are just following procedure as you cannot by law accept ID that is out of date. I’ve been having problems with leovegas too first withdrawal went through fine then I tried multiple times after they got another withdrawal and they kept sending me an email saying I have to use the same card I used to deposit and the money has been moved back to my account – ended up playing with that money and losing it as I couldn’t be arsed contacting their support. As soon as The final countdown is released elsewhere I won’t be bothering with them again.
23rd March 2019 at 8:46 pm #57024Leo Vegas has Stockholm syndrome ☺️
Avoid this casino at all costs imo, because their from Sweden and Swedish companies are the nut low, they are based in Malta but have head offices in Sweden and will use the letter off the Law in their favour Ofcourse in daily dealings.
24th March 2019 at 12:35 am #57052To be clear, I agree with the frustration, but Leo Vegas have to be like this currently.
The Swedish licence just kicked in and its regulated the shit out of them. They are going to be pedantic. Its gonna suck but ill have a word if anyone needs me too.
As for passport out of date – an out of datepassport isnt valid ID anywhere. Pubs, planes, poker, casino, whatever. Doesnt work
24th March 2019 at 12:45 am #57054Apologies for being a pedantic arse but Easy Jet will let you use an out of date passport as ID for a domestic flight.

A valid passport – an expired passport can be used up to a maximum of five years after expiry. Valid photographic EU or Swiss national identity card. Valid photographic driving licence, provisional or full.
24th March 2019 at 3:26 am #57065It seems that an expired passport is valid as ID pretty much everywhere except in banks who have a legal obligation in relation to offering dodgy bank accounts.
Oh and Casinos who have a self appointed moral obligation to hold on toyour cash as long as possible 🙂
Or to Put it another way, you can’t give a bank your cash to hold without valid ID, but a casino will accept it even if it’s just been handed to you by Pablo Escobar. It’s only potential drug money when you want it back 🙂

I should bloody well think so, if not flying out of the UK, next it’ll be blue passports for bus rides. ?

Would be insane for Leo Vegas to risk their licenses, just because people are too lazy to send in the id needed. I think Leo is a very legit site.
As for Leo being a swedish company. So you don`t play on Videoslots,Mr Green, etc etc?? Also many big providers are swedish.

This isn’t the case. Stores selling age restricted products such as Cigs, booze, lottery (gambling) and knives require the ID to be in date and they are very strict about this, selling to someone who has an expired passport could result in a big fine and more severe punishments. I know this because I possess a personal alcohol licence. I can only imagine they would fall into the exact same category and would receive a heftier fine if they was caught accepting an out of date passport as valid ID.
I do agree about them trying tactics to hold on to your money so you’ll reverse and play but that’s why I play over at sites that let you lock withdrawals (like Casumo) unless I can help it.
