Essentially I need to know if I have any options available to me for borrowing around £200 til end of June, but bearing in mind I:
Have a terrible credit rating, debts are coming down slowly but surely since I stopped gambling but even a PDL company wouldn’t touch me now.
Do not have any friends or family who could act as a guarantor for a guarantor loan.
Do not own a car, or anything of value I can sell or pawn and buy back. Only even semi valuable items I own are things like my laptop I need.
I suspect I may just be screwed and unable to borrow, but being a forum full I’m sure of many people who’ve had to deal with sticky finances, am I overlooking any possible options? It’s not the end of the world by any means if I have none, just makes things a bit difficult and inconvenient this month.

Jk….?
Only way to get money with nothing to sell or no family or friends to borrow from, is by either begging or stealing mate.
Sorry

not sure if you could save back some money from food spending by using a food bank etc don’t take a payday loan and i think there are a few loan companies with decent APR that will still look at you based on a individual situation mate other then that i’m stuck for ideas :/

I think you can transfer money via online banking and only need sort code and ac number. You can only deposit money this way and not withdraw. You’d need the long number on the bank card to do that so don’t worry @argyl53.
It’s do-able if we all club together and argyl doesn’t mind giving us this info?

Thanks Haz and Mickey for the kind offer, but can see it being a bit of an admin nightmare getting 10 email addresses, giving 10 people bank details, getting 10 people’s bank or PayPal details, listing it all down…can easily see myself accidentally missing someone come pay back day and so looking like I’ve ripped them off!
2nd May 2019 at 3:16 pm #64185Please be careful, stay away from loan sharks. I would help if I could but not great my self this next few months with money as I’m having my daughters room done. Could you not cut your spending down for food, and shop at aldi if you don’t already? Cut down on unnecessary spending like cigs and booze. Change to rolling tobacco if you smoke. Cheaper in the long run (or vape, even better). Food banks are a good idea if you have the option, but not sure if you need a referral from a job centre or something?

Nah, fuck that, I’ll help if I can. I’d help you if you were in the same boat JB. 8 more peeps who have 20 spare and we’re laughing.
2nd May 2019 at 3:20 pm #64187In respect of other advice, no unfortunately I have just enough money for groceries / essential spending but what’s happened is I fell behind on council tax when I was sick for a while and missing some days of work a couple months running reduced my income. They’re now threatening to call in an entire year’s bill if I can’t pay my arrears in the next few days. Not sure where they think I’d magic up a grand from when I don’t currently have the £200, seems strange logic but my experience with councils is they don’t hesitate to haul you to court for their tax money, which then increases the debt further.

Not asking you to shell out anything mate, but for the record I absolutely would go down the cash converter route except my phone and laptop I rely on for work and income, so those aren’t pawnable and my TV didn’t even cost £150 new, so CC wouldn’t offer me more than £30 for it if I was lucky!
2nd May 2019 at 3:33 pm #64190All I’d need was sort code and account number. I do lots of telephone banking and have many accounts set up to pay. It’s easy. I wouldn’t want it back either. Anything to help. I’m happy for seedy to give you my e mail address.
