Im a big bandit fan and have been for a long time now. Sorry if its a shit topic but i needed to vent.
I have a problem. 2k saved up cause ive just split with the girlfriend and im looking at moving out of our house. I gamble a bit for fun and win and lose some. But nothing major.
That changed today and i just did 2k in 2 hours. All i had saved for the move. Bonuses were scarce and when they hit paid shit. Im up shit creek and feel like an absolute fucking gimp. Anyone else feeling this way. Could do with some moral support because im feeling like im going to be sick.
Advice? Thoughts?
7th February 2019 at 8:48 pm #47099Its shit that it happened mate its just one of those things. Its amazing how quickly it can spiral.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but it might be worth self excluding for a while or using gamstop/gamban. Especially if you have just split with the Mrs. The added stress of a relationship break up can be a big trigger if your gambling.
Hopefully you will come out of it mate and be able to save the money back up. Whatever you do dont try and chase it.
Forum is always here is you need to vent mate – better than playing games especially if you have a lot going on and might spend silly amounts.
7th February 2019 at 8:52 pm #47102Hi stuboy.. Yeah that sucks big time bro, know how you feel atm.. As Andy said get on gamstop ASAP it will help you through this somewhat difficult time, it’s always when we’re stressful we fuck our self’s up.. Keep the head bro ?
7th February 2019 at 8:52 pm #47103Dont get paid for 3 weeks so im buggered. Why doesn’t your brain think if this shit in the moment
7th February 2019 at 8:53 pm #471057th February 2019 at 9:05 pm #47109Make a list of what you need to survive the month mate (bills, food, rent, fuel etc) then add a few quid on for unexpected emergencies. See if there is a family member or close friend who can help you out until payday. Don’t try and pay the whole borrow back on payday as it will fuck you for next month. Just be straight with who you approach and just say its for a couple of months but chip away at it over time.
You will soon be back on track
7th February 2019 at 9:14 pm #47111Sorry to hear about the loss pal. I know it’s hard to do but you have to write the money off. Don’t get yourself in further trouble chasing the loss. Start again If you saved it up once you can do it again. Good luck.
117th February 2019 at 9:20 pm #47115I was just saying on here the other night that the addiction to gambling is always most prevalent when you are feeling at your lowest, I remember back when the missus and I had a barney that I would have the laptop fired up to Casumo the minute her arse went to bed. Next morning she’s still in the strunts and i’m sitting on top of £300 losses. Fucking miserable days. Get over to gamstop lad, sort yourself out, maybe stopping gambling could bring you back together, god know. Hope you are OK son.
7th February 2019 at 9:21 pm #47116Been there over and over mate, many times I’ve had family members pull me out the s**t, but I never seem to learn. I’ve never used Gamban or anything as I’ve always wanted to change my ways and do it with my own will power yet always end up in the same place. I’m 50 this year, always earned good money but never had a bean to show for it. Guess what I’m trying to say is you’re certainly not alone and my advice is take it on the chin, don’t chase it and learn from it. You can’t beat them! Even this month I’ve done my full wage on Wild Swarm chasing a Maxed hive that just will not open after thousands of £1 spins! I’m actually waiting for payday so I can try again. Your turn …could you just walk away after ploughing so much money into it?
7th February 2019 at 9:47 pm #47124I think a lot of us would continue hank, maybe not continuously at the same stake.
If/when it does burst, what will you do? Withdraw if its decent, go on tilt if its shite? That’s the scary thing chasing sonething you think is due and are heavily invested in, if it doesnt pan out or youre gonna spunk whatever you win then is it worth the chase?!
18th February 2019 at 12:10 am #47161I’ve did sessions of £2 spins as well but its just too expensive, you can do in a quick £50 without even seeing a bee. We’ve all watched the bandit but to most of us £50 is a lot of money! The worst Swarm I’ve hit was £17.40 on a £2 stake if it’s anything like that when it opens I’ll never use casino hero’s casino again, on principal alone, it’s taken me for thousands and I’ve collected only once that I remember… even then I was asked for ID before they paid out.. I accept its the rules but they’re never concerned who you are when taking! You’re right though if its not a big hit I will stick it on roulette, so it’s more than likely NOT worth the chase!

hi stuboy i feel your pain, been there many times in the past myself, hope it works out for you take care. As blacko said, “the addiction to gambling is always most prevalent when you are feeling at your lowest” never a truer word written.
hankventura- I too am waiting for a hive to explode at max think i must have spun about 2k into it at varying stakes, mostly at £6 and £4 some tenners and loads of at 60p and 80p. being playing it with profit and playing it since August. part of me wishes I just kept the winnings rather than playing swarm :/ hmm. I like you say £2 spins can turn sour pretty quick although playing it at £4 and £6 is what got me to the point I am with not hurting the balance to much £2 however raped me lol. well I hope when mine and your explode they both pay gl m8
18th February 2019 at 11:51 am #47152I’ve done similar mate, had £6k pending withdrawal on pink casino and reversed it because it took so long to go through. £20 spins on fishing frenzy and it was all gone in less than 15mins lol, these games can be complete shite sometimes.
I only make £1200/month as a support worker and needed that to get a car for commuting this winter, here I am three months later and riding my motorcycle in this crap weather and still no car. Had to use Gamstop in the end or else I wouldn’t have had funds for Christmas.
Chin up mate and focus on the future, I’d suggest using gamstop as it’s been a life saver for me literally. Had some really low times after losing a whole paycheque hours after getting paid.
