So yesterday i was playing on book of dead 5 lines 50p stake. I was around £20 down when 2 books appeared on a payline followed by 2 explorers. At this point im thinking the bonus is a dissapointment haha however the book landed at the top of the real, gave me aces and didnt expand once.

Then a little later i played pimped 1 line £1 stake. About 50 spins in it spun in the first 3 reels wild, ring on the 4th and wild on the 5th for £250. Above the ring was a wild and below was the top guy.

I was left wondering whether id been lucky or unlucky and what could have been? I was still happy though.

Although it feels unlucky, it’s important to remember that the visuals (e.g. a near miss) play no representation in how the spin played out. The spin decided you were going to win £x and therefore showed you that outcome – the near miss is just there by coincidence and/or to tilt the player, but it certainly doesn’t mean that you were “close” to winning a jackpot.
