From Stop & Step’s channel today. Have a look and see very quickly how they have shown utter contempt for caring about addicted gamblers. I mean, that’s why they.gov did this right ? Didn’t realise Stevie had posted a thread about this. Alas I have shared the video but have nothing to do with Stop & Step.
20th February 2019 at 10:30 pm #5003120th February 2019 at 10:34 pm #50033I haven’t watched it yet but I get the feeling it’s not going to bode well.
20th February 2019 at 10:35 pm #50034Honestly didn’t Stevie. Sorry mucka. More importantly, it looks like they have sidelined the .. no, they HAVE sidelined the forced changes.
20th February 2019 at 10:49 pm #5003620th February 2019 at 11:12 pm #50038You know it. Each spin takes 3 seconds tops and gives nothing but a chance to trigger a spin that gives mostly nothing so if anything £40 might give you two or three real reel spins in about a minute when a 20 30 40 50 quid game of 5 spins lasted… mmmm. at least 20 seconds. So it’s possible to blow £500 in what amounts to no time thus rushing addicted gamblers to an equally bad place. Who knows though, maybe the roulette side of things will die for addicts and they turn to slots but for what good it will do ?
Seems to me like a bs system change to be honest.

No worries brother…. I was driving and posting hahahah….. Thread was not put together well ??? at least you posted the video ?.
Yeah… Its what we thought would happen, they would try to make you play THERE prize DRAW just to play a Slot machine… These people are absolutely wankers. Scum of the earth.
20th February 2019 at 11:25 pm #50041Just watched it and came on to post about it. They have found a loophole but it may put a lot of people off playing that style of game. I can see the rainbow riches style doing ok but spining a reel to actually get a chance to spin a reel with the chance you wont win. I played a roullete game similar in the pub and it was brutal.
I think regardless of this work around it will still help people especially with roulette. I think stop and step was spot on that the options are basically the same as playing the fortune spins.
Its a shame they have done it as £2 a spin should mean £2 a spin and would in an ideal world put the slots back to their original state. I think most of us expected they would have somthing planned and this new way of playing will target gamblers who like to play close to the edge for that chance at a big hit.
20th February 2019 at 11:49 pm #50045I actually turned this vid off after few mins because it bored me, the attraction towards the fobts for me was the chance of winning a decent chunk on roulette, I’m so happy to say they bore me now and I will be able to commence my normal bookmaker activity and be able to blow all my money on the virtual racing without getting distracted, oh yeah and actually being able to put a football bet on.
21st February 2019 at 12:52 am #50056I watch Stop and Step vids and saw today’s . Rainbow Riches & T Flower were OK, but a couple of the other games were taking the piss bad.
21st February 2019 at 3:25 am #50065I’m loving it, from 1 Apr apart from when I drive long distances, about 6 times a year, and stop at the services I will probably never gamble again. My weakness was always roulette – that,s gone, the slots look crap, bet £2 to get a chance to spin – seriously! And online gambling just doesn’t interest me and never has. Big up to the government, they will save me a fortune. The

21st February 2019 at 7:14 am #50067I was told by one high street managers that the industry had looked at ways of getting around the £2 stake and imagine we will see plenty of these types of games in the coming Months. He did say that Coral decided not to introduce them and were complying fully, we shall see soon enough. Gambling has to be Fair and has to be seen to be Fair
21st February 2019 at 11:18 am #50088Bingo halls have had this kind of gameplay for quite some time. Pay £2 for a chance to match 3 symbols for a chance to play an “enhanced game” for a chance that said “enhanced game” could pay you nothing! It’s nonsense!!
I did notice that the terminal stop n step was playing had Black Knight community on it. Didn’t think bookies would have community games. Does anyone know how far the “community” stretches? Will it be the 4 terminals in the shop or across multiple shops?
Unfortunately I find these community games hypnotic and can see myself playing it.

Don’t mate. I lost £750 In an hour playing communities in an arcade on Saturday. You see all the pots on £100 and think they are going to pay and they don’t. I hope this post puts you off them.
