I signed up to gamstop in January 2019, but recently I started getting text messages of offers to join with bonus etc – the links are all short urls and I have never followed them. Today I got an email from 7sevencherries offering me a match bonus etc. Does anyone know if this is a new startup casino? I am assuming they have bought my details from somewhere. They state in their email they are regulated. If so should they have checked my details against gamstop ? Also, they are breaking the GDPR as I have not actually given them permission to contact me, nor have I requested correspondence from them.

Now I know why some people find it hard to get away from this when companies try everything to get you to sign up !!!

A casino in the past that you’ve signed up to and played on, might have sold yours and others details. Thats why your getting these spam promotions.

It doesn’t even need to be a casino, that’s how spammers work. It’s a phone number, there’s only a finite amount so they just bulk send. Nobody gets targeted spam, it’s a wide cast in the hope of getting someone to fall for it
